This is weird because I was just talking with my husband about this today. A friend of his was commenting that our kids seem so advanced and he wishes his daughter was up to our youngest son's level (they're the same age). We were saying that if he'd stop treating his kids like they're just pets that are there when he feels like talking to them then maybe they'd respond differently. We didn't say this to his face, of course. But so many people do not talk to their kids like they are actual people. I hate when adults talk down to children like they're morons. My oldest is now 6. When he was 4 I was involved in a play through community theatre and one day he was at rehearsal with me. This woman starting to talking to him in a sing songy voice and was asking him stupid questions. He gave her the dirtiest look and then looked at me as if to say, "Is she kidding?" He refused to talk to her. My youngest plays football and one of the things that impressed me most about his coach is that at the first practice the coach introduced himself to each child and shook their hands. These are all 3 & 4 year old kids. But he was showing them respect and that he takes them seriously. I think it is important to let children know they'll be taken seriously--even from a very early age.

My pal you must be extra mad that they don't comply with the religion. Because that displays you probably did a deficient process of being the person of the residence. This global and the rulers of this global imply not anything as it's God who places men and women in energy we're to obey them in all matters until they make legislation in opposition to our following the phrase of God. Romans thirteen:a million-7 and Acts five:29. A character who cannot rule his possess dwelling isn't an excessively well chief however as soon as the youngsters are historical sufficient to selected what they real consider if so long as they had been with you and adopted the Lord at the same time underneath your roof you probably did you process. They will must reply to God for his or her habits. however alternatively they aren't honoring mum and dad by means of no longer being a believer it makes you appear unhealthy as a godly mum or dad. I do not imply to be imperative to you this was once no longer supposed as a placed down. Thanks for the query pal. God bless.

This bothers me a lot because babies learn from the people they are around and if you mispronounce the words then they will no learn to talk correctly and it would take them longer to pick up on good speaking skills. Babies will unsderstand normal human adult language if they are around it and most of the time those babies will learn to talk before the babies that are around what I call baby lango

Oh, man! My MOL does that w/ my 2 yo son, and it drives us ALL crazy! When Gramma starts in on the whole "Oh BOY aren't we a biggie baby boyeee! Yes we are! Yes we are!" My son looks at me and smiles, as if he's saying what's up with that? I've told her not to, and so has my husband and his brother the TEACHER, but she does it anyway. When I hear that noise, I feel like reaching over and smacking somebody!
Kids are not puppies or itty witty kitty kats. They are HUMAN!

Children can be trained to talk sensibly even at an early age, because they got sharp minds and can grasp any single words even it doesn't make sense to them. As much as possible, avoid baby talk. Words that are implanted into their ears is registered into their brains consciously and subconsciously, Our brains even that of a child works like a computer, input is equal to output. so if you put garbage in, most likely it's gonna be garbage out.

To tell you the truth... it bothers me when adults talk to babies like babies.... with that "cutesy wootsey" voice thing........

I'm 8 months pregnant right now and today I was hanging out with my cousin and her 1 1/2 year old daughter... she kept talking all cutesy with her. I don't know... I just cant talk cutesy wootsey to a baby. I talk in my normal voice.

I have never been a big baby talker. All that goo goo ba ba bi da stuff just isn't for me. I speak warmly and lovingly to my children and I tend to get the "mommy voice" when they are bad.

Personally it doesn't bother me but I choose not to do it. I have an 18 month old daughter and I speak to her as if she is an adult and it actually helps her talk more.

That's not nearly as bad as my sister in law who is 27 that does this. She even giggles after she farts. She's about 250 lbs. It's like I need someone to shoot me quick when she's around.
