Vaginal ultrasounds are good, but every baby grows at a slightly different rate. As your pregnancy continues, your due date will most likely change anyway. Typically you LMP is the more accurate date.

your ultrasound is going to differ from your LMP due date most likely every time bc every baby develops differently and all the ultrasound does is take all the measurements and approximate a due date. If you have regular periods then go by your LMP...thats what my Dr told me be there was a difference in my due date also

the ultrasound is more accurate in predicting due date. Due dates based on the LMP typically assume you ovulated 14 days after, where you could ovulate a couple days before or after. In the ultrasound they do measurements that can help predict how far along it is in development.

It gets confusing, because the margin of error is different at different stages of the pregnancy. However, yours was only off by 4 days. The most they ever change it for is 6 days, so you need to go by you LMP!

Ultrasound determines by size and development of the baby so it is the most accurate to determine when the baby will be born. Good luck and God Bless! I am due March 17. :)

Thats only a week dear, you just ovulated a little late.....my best friend had unprotected sex a day before her period was due and we have beautiful little Savannah to show for it....we conceive when god puts the little buggers together....not according to our last menstral period. I had the same thing happen.....both times I knew when I had sex......and I was right, both my babies were 10 days earlier than the due date the doctors gave me, its just a guideline remember.
