Each birth is unique. Experience helps, but the experience is still unique. Some will tell you it is easier. Others won't. The generally accepted idea is that the second is easier than the first. It is not always true. Good news though; not always true does not mean always false. It is sometimes true. Be encouraged and of good cheer. All will work out. Apply what you learned the first time.

Not necessarily. I have given birth to 6 children--two sets of twins. My first was a scheduled c-section because of a breach twin, my second was induced at 41 weeks, which I found out afterward that induction makes your contractions twice as hard--definitely not easier or less painful, but vaginal is much easier to heal from than a c-section. My third was twins--epidural wore off and felt everything-TWICE-NOT LESS PAIN THERE EITHER--and my last was just as painful, epidural wore off again--lucky me!!! However, no matter what level of pain you experience, once the baby is out and you're holding them for the first time, no matter what number it is, you still slip into delivery amnesia--the condition that causes you to do it all over again--this is why women and not men carry and deliver the babies--our population would be drastically smaller if it were up to them to do all the hard work.....but in the end whether it's the first, second, or fifth time around, pain is pain...little or lot....it's all worth it in the end.......

It all depends on you and the unborn child. My first child was 4 hours of labor from the first contraction till I held her in my arms. The second child was 45 minutes of labor from first contraction til I held her. The third daughter was 26 hours of labor and she was breach. No they didn't turn her.
My middle daughter was in labor 24 hours with her first and had to have a c-section with her second and is scheduled for a c-section with her third. I will say that she was up and about and did much better after the c-section.
I wish I could be of more help to you. It does seem though that each child comes a little faster than the one before it.

Not necessarily, in my own experience, I have my first child at age 28 my son weighs 10 lbs quite big I but had a normal delivery and it only took me 4 hours to labor. Quite easy compared to my second child which only weighs 7 lbs which I had when I was 36. I can say I had a difficult time in labor, I guessed it might be due to overage factor.

each birth is different, but it is known that ur uterus is softer ur second pregnancy, so it may go faster, but my first i was in labor for 17 hours my second was 15 hrs. my 3rd was 4, so as u can see the difference between the first 2 was not that much although with my first i had to be induced with my 2nd i went to the hospital in labor already 4 centimeters dialated. good luck!

Every delivery experience is different, and there are no guarantees. My second delivery was much faster, but no less pain full. The 3rd was neither painful nor quick. the 4th happened quickly, but I had some preterm labor. Try not to think too much about it, but instead, enjoy your pregnancy and your coming little one. Best wishes.

Every woman and every pregnancy is different. Though most women do experience a quicker labor after the first, that doesn't mean it's any easier. My worst one was with my third!

It's not that it's less painful, it's that you can handle it better the second time around. you know what's going to happen so you aren't scared outta your mind while dealing with the pain! i have 2 (32 hrs labor with 1st and 19 hrs with the second) it was no less painful but i knew how to deal with the pain and i wasn't terrified. it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE! :)

It was much easier for *me* giving birth the 2nd time. The 1st baby was an unplanned c-section, the 2nd birth was a normal one, and let me tell you, it was much easier!!!
