had my first (twins) at 20 and fourth and last at 24. Don't regret it but I am and have been in a stable relationship for going on 7 years and had the finances for it. Everyone and every situation is different.

There is no best young age to be pregnant. However, you should not get pregnant until you are financially stable and can handle the responsibility. Having a child is a lifelong, full-time commitment. Make sure you've done all you want to do in your young life before you have a baby. I also think some of the best parents are actually those that tend to be a little older meaning mid 20s or older. This is usually because they've lived more and sometimes tend to be more responsible and mature.

It really depends on who you are. My sister in law was pregnant at the age of 14 and had her first baby at age 15. Her mother went around the bend at her but this woman is now in her early 40 and about to become a grandmother for the second time. My sister in law also ended up having 6 children in all. She isn't mooching off of welfare, she married the man who she had the first child with and they have lived happily ever after. So you see, it just depends upon who you are as to what is right.

I feel there is no age for having children but i tell my daughter who is 17 to have a career, stability in life and family, and above all be financially responsible and ready as having kids does take alot of money.
i had my kids at 17,18 and 20 and love them but if i had to do it again i would wait til i was financially ready for them.
the up side is i am 35 and they are 18,17 and 15
and make sure you can handle the stress of children after all it is a 24/7 commitment for 18 yrs +

After high school, collage and when you have a safe, stable and money making career. I speak from being there doing that at a young age. Trust me that when you wait you and the baby benifit.

There isn't. If you feel you are ready, then hunny go for it. In some societies, women get pregnate as soon as they have their first period. It's all about were you are in YOUR life. If you want a baby at 15, then go for it. But I personally don't think that's a wise choice. Most women shoot for 25ish? I had mine at 21.

But mid 20's is a good age to start, as long as you feel you are ready to surrender your life and give it COMPLETY to your child.

Honestly when you are ready, I had my first when I was 17 and it was by accident but I was very mature now I am 19 and pregnant with my baby boy and I think everything happens for a reason, when you're ready it happens if your mature enough to handle it you're ready, if you're still not sure then it's best to wait till you are ready. I mean this time around I was ready.
