How old does a minor have to be to consent to sex in TN.?

ok i used to live in TN and my grandpa works for the sheriff's department and here are your guidelines.
if you are over 18 U cant NOT have sex with someone under 18
if you are under 18 and so are they then you cant have more than a three years difference.
so if you are 17 and they14 then it is illegal.
same as if they are 16 and the other is 13.

The age of consent is Tennessee is 18,which sucks because I live there too and my bf is 19 and I'm 16.Tennessee has some dumb laws,in most other states it's 16,at least it's not 21 anymore,because it used to be.If you do have sex with anyone over 18 just don't tell anyone or get caught or they might go to jail.
