How many people think that a young woman’s reproductive rights should be ruled by the government…or even by her parents? Would YOU want someone telling you that you had to have a child, because you didn’t know about birth control, or couldn’t have an abortion, even if you were as young as 10?

Recently, the Senate, led by a few dedicated pro-choice advocates and NARAL-Prochoiceamerica, overturned Sen. Bill Frist’s attempt to deny young people access to birth control by passing the “Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act”, which NARAL termed “Cruel, Hopelessly Complex, and Unconstitutional”

According to NARAL: “The "Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act" would impose an impossibly complex patchwork of parental-involvement laws on women and doctors across the country with the goal to curb young women’s access to private, confidential health services.
The bill proposes a variety of new mandates on women, families, and doctors. Among other things:

(The bill forces doctors tto learn and enforce 49 other states’ laws, under the threat of fines and prison sentences.
(2) In many cases, CIANA forces young women to comply with two states’ parental-involvement mandates.

I just gave birth to my baby and was in the hospital for 5 days and none of my friends visited. What is wrong with people these days. I sent them all an email a week earlier telling them that I was going in for a c-section and they said oh great we'll visit blah blah blah. Should I say something?

My ex boyfriend and I have 2 classes together and are in pep band together. I realize he could still be bitter about us breaking up ( 4 months ago) but he is treating me horribly. Since school started I have been nice to him but today he was walking with my friend Alex and I said hey Alex. Alex couldn't see my and he asked who it was. My ex boyfriend responded saying its Satan. I don't get why he is saying this. We had a great relationship but now he is so mean to me. We agreed we would try and be friends when we broke up but hes being so rude while I'm nice to him. What do I do?

Just wondering.

I know some parents will allow it as an after school snack or something light if needed after dinner, and I know other parents who will permit it at breakfast time only.

Whenever I wake up my underwear is always riding up my bum. Why is this?

Is it because they are too tight, but 'saggy' in the back? What would you do/say if you were here?

I have a 3 year old that loves to talk. She talk early and she is easy to understand. I have a 20 month old , who talk a little bit. He say mom and dad and all of the other little words that babys say. But when my daughter was almost two she could say whle sentces, but my son does not. Is it because of my daughter that he is not talking well. Or is it because he is a boy. I mean that is what I hear that boys don't advance as well a girl. Please nothing rude.

She will only eat toast with marmite, cheese, crackers, yogurt, MILK (lots and lots!) and of course anything like cake/biscuits (though not a fan of chocolate or sweets). I feel like we have read every book going and try and tempt her with everything, but she is so stubborn. It seems like the more stressed out a person gets around her food (i.e her Grandma really frets over it, and there she eats NOTHING) the less she eats.

Will this go on forever? I honestly have tried to offer her all the stuff like little pretty sandwiches, fancy meals, plan old fruit and veg - but she just drops it on the floor with a look of disgust on her face or tries to make me eat it!

The child prances around the neighborhood with hair weave extensions down to her butt. Just a month ago her hair was brown and today I see that it's light blond and blown straight, her fingernails and toes are painted hot pink and she dresses her in tiny shorts with tube tops or really short skirts. Occasionally I see the little girl wearing lip gloss or pink lipstick. She carries a purse and always wears these little cinderalla slippers with a low heel. I don't want to judge the mother or call her a bad parent but my 8 year old niece visits me often after school and I refuse to let my niece play with her. There is a rumor on the block that I think my niece is too good to play with certain kids. I don't blame this child at all but I don't want my niece to think looking this way as a child is okay. She already asked me to buy her some nail polish and a purse since she met this little girl so I immediately told her not to play with her. Am I wrong for feeling this way

Kindergarten started in August for my 5 year old son, now the last 2 weeks he has started pooping his pants, when asked why, he says I didn't mean to. But he admits he knew he had to go. He has one kid in his class that makes him nervous, because he is naughty and always in trouble. He was sent home friday for going in his pants, he promised never to do it again and he just did at McDonalds. I am at witts end. He is not sexually abused, he is either with me or school. He is not physically or verbally abused either. He has been going potty in the toilet for a long time with no problems..Any suggestions??
