I am almost 39 wks and we have a possible hurricane coming tommrow and someone told me that the change in the atmosphere or sumthing to do with the storm could put me in labor is this true or just a wise tale?

I am looking into buying a nice pair of infants 24K gold post earring for my baby girl. She is getting her ears pierced this weekend. She was born in November, what is that birthstone? I think a light blue stone will bring her eyes out good, she has blue eyes. Also should I give her tylenol before the precedure? She is almost 10 months old.

my son is 2.5 yrs old and still wears 18 month pants but some brands 2t but his shirt size is 3t. I bought him some new pants for pre school and theres like an inch and a half between him and the material,lol.

I wanted to throw a babyshower for my sister-in-law until i was told what day to do it on and asked to buy a crib for almost 400.00. now i'm really disgusted and dont want to do it anymore. her gift registry includes all baby furniture and a comforter set for the crib for 200.00. i'm so hurt at the selfishness and my friends are disgusted and told me to drop out and let her mom plan it alone. when i told my sister-in-law that she isn't suppose to be part of the planning and that i'm not buying the crib, i haven't heard from her in 2 weeks. should i take my friends advice and drop out of it all?

My question: How soon is too soon to tell if you are pregnet? The last time my fiance and I had unprotected sex was on Aug 11, my last cycle was on July 27. Im to start my cycle Aug 22, but have not...Should I be concerned or am I just over reacting? Thx.

I am having my friend plan my baby shower ( she wants to) I live in Jacksonville, Fl and he in Orlando. I am from Orlando and so I will be having one down there. She went ahead without me knowing and bought my invitations and thank you cards. I haven't seen them yet and I thought it was nice of her to do that. I would kind of liked to see them though but no biggie. Anyways she is gonna be sending out the invitations and when she came to vist and was making the list I realized how bad her handwriting is, I don't want my invitations to look sloppy. What can I say or do to still be polite about it?

I've been feeding my 6 1/2 month old son rice cereal and have started on veggies & fruits as well. The problem is that he won't take it w/out it mixed with the rice cereal. It's this way with every food. I try it plain for a bit then put the cereal in it and he's fine. Go to reduce the cereal and he just hates it. Any suggestions? Has anyone had a baby just not like baby food at all?

My 3 year old can & does unbuckle her seat belt in the car at very awkward times!!!

Does anyone know of a lock or something i could use on her belt to keep her from pushing the button & getting out of her car seat???

Mine is 13 mo old .
He has 4 teeth and 2 more coming in, He can say mama dada gma baba baby bye bye.
He started walking at 12 mo and hasnt stopped since ! He loves to turn the tv off and run away and laugh..lol
And this kids never stops eating , he ate a whole mcdonalds happy meal! He is already 35 lbs and breaks my back! Lets here about yours!

My daughter, Annika, is 3 months old and sleeps about 6 or 7 hours a night, wakes up to eat, sleeps for another 3 to 4 hours and then dozes all day with usually another 3 to 4 hour nap in the afternoon. She seems to be awake for only an hour at a time. Am I crazy for thinking there's something wrong with this or should I just be thankful since I also have a 3 1/2 year old son?
