I want to take my 6 and 4 years old niece and nephew somewhere fun. What are some cool things to do w/ children in New York?

Take them to the zoo. But bring some cash because if there is a train at the zoo,they won't want to do anything but ride the train at their age. Pack a cooler with a picnic lunch and take them to the beach....bring life jackets,sunblock and different size empty cans to assist in building sand castles. Do you live near a museum of natural history? Kids love dinosaurs. Take a bus or subway to the airport and let them watch planes take off and land. Whatever you do with them ,they will be happy they have such a cool aunt who loves them so much! Good luck and have fun!

Like New York City? How about to a children's museum or to a park for a picnic. Good luck and have fun.

Take them to a large toy/department store. Some toy stores will let you demo some of the toys.
The Zoo was always my favorite growing up.

Let them play in something like Disneyland but in New York.Go in a park and see if there is a place for little children.And aren't there any mountains nearby?
