Skinny butt, no hips, big head? Yup, that's my kid!
He wears a 24M/2T shirt but I have problems with the pants. 12M will stay up but they look like capris at this point but the 18M will fall to his ankles. And forget about buying matching outfits (which I get a lot of as gifts). I try to get overalls when I find them but for some reason I have trouble finding them unless it is at an expensive store.
Oh, he's 2 yrs3mos.

Yes, I have two that are like that in some way. My oldest is 4, wears 4t, but I have to put a belt on every pair of her pants, she has long legs but is skinny. My youngest is 3, and she wears 2t, and are a bit long on her and big at the waist. Have no problem with the shirts, just the pants.

I have the same problem. I have found that if you go to some of the better children's clothing stores like The Children's Place. They actually sell little boys shorts in a 2T and up with an adjustable waist inside. I had to buy them there because the size18 months were too short and the 2T's were too loose. But these shorts have an elastic and buttons inside so I can make the shorts tighter in the waist for him.
I also found a pair like that at a Target store.

My daughter! She's long and lean, her shirts don't fit her shoulders, so she couldn't wear those summer dresses for babies that have a square collar, she STILL can wear a size 2T around her waist, she's almost 7!!!! she has a round butt but her waist is tiny! I hate buying her pants, because she's 6X because of her long legs but she has to wear a belt all the time!

Its very frustrating!! My daughter is 2 and sometimes 18 month pants don't fit her. I have found at Target they have adjustable waist band pants. They are very simple to use and are wonderful, the clothes can last so much longer. I also like Target because their prices are very reasonable. I haven't bought any boys' pants but my neighbor says they have them for boys too.

I know what you mean, my son's the same way..He's almost 4 y.o. but still wears size 2T pants..But its alright. For one thing, I save money in not having to buy him clothes everyother month. And secondly, he's still as cute as ever!!!!

Yes, and it is frustrating. My daughter is 7 and still wears a size 5. I keep thinking she has grown and try buying her a bigger size, but they just fall off of her! lol

I have the same problem. The only thing you can do is buy a belt or sew the sides of his pants together.

Yep. And it doesn't get any better. My 13 year old is 5'10" and about 110 pounds. Too tall for boys clothes and too skinny for mens. I feel for you.
