She might just not feel comfortable discussing this with you yet. Give her space. She may be figuring it all out still - there is a chance she is interseted in girls.

Enjoy it! My daughter is 12 and can't get her mind off boys.
I wasn't very interested in boys at 15 - well, I did have one crush and there was also duran Duran - but I never talked to my mother about the crush so as far as she knew I wasn't interested. The problem was that she never really seemed interested in anything that I had to say.
So, enjoy the fact that she is not boy crazy and make yourself available for her to talk. Don't be pushy, just be available and listen.

It may be normal for her. Not all girls are interested in boys at that time. Don't put pressure on her to like boys.

Yes,it is normal. She may not have hit that stage in her life yet.She also may be exploring different sexualitys. You cannot discourage her from this as she is only discovering who she is as a female.Do not judge her for doing this, that is normal. She is young, just make sure she is wise in the decisions she makes.Make sure she is safe and cautious about certain things. All you can really do is be supportive and non-judgmental in the choices she makes. She is rather young,so make sure she keeps herself safe. Also, talk to her, dont force her to talk as she may feel invaded just let her know you are her mother and you are there for her to talk to whenever she may need about whatever she may need.Good Luck.

When one of my friends was 15, she wasn't interested in boys, shopping, clothes, makeup, or any of that kind of stuff and she turned out just fine. Don't worry about it.

Some girls are mature at 15 to realize from her friends experiences that boys are full of heartache and crap that they tend to stick with friends and school. Be greatful that she won't be coming home any time soon telling you she's pregnant.

are you sure that shes not interested in guys, maybe she is and is not telling you to avoid "the talk". But everybody matures at their own pace maybe she is just interested in other things that she finds more important currently.

It depends if she has interests in other things, such as sports, music, etc... I wasn't dating then either, but I am now 23, straight and married. I wouldn't worry much. It also depends on if she is shy, or not social.

You should be happy because at lease you do not have to worry about her having sex and having a baby at a early age. Also so can concentrate on her school work.
