I have spent the last year teaching my son about the planets.. now they're saying that Pluto isn't one.. how am I going to get him to understand that Pluto isn't a planet anymore?? He's not going to get the whole 'criteria for determining a planet' mumbo jumbo !!

My medical bills are outrageouse. For prenatal care it was $3,300 and I had no complications and one ultrasound. For labor and delivery for just me my bill was $4,500. My son is on a seperate bill and his costs were $1,300. I have excellent insurance but these bill seem a little high for a perfect pregnancy and delivery with no complications. I was also in the hospital for only 2 days. I also do not live in a major city or high income area.

when i had my first boy i didnt feel no contractions nothing i had an epidural, now im 29 weeks preg and scared to hell to go into labor! so i just wanted to hear from other woman that have been thrugh labor, and tell me what was the most painful? the contractions. the baby coming out?

Any idea for baby names?
Boy and girl names. I would like something that is unusal, but nothing that will get them beat up in school.
I was thinking Atticus Johnathan for a boy, and calling him AJ, but for a girl, I'm at a total loss.

How do you "stop trying" to get pregnant? I mean, God bless you all for trying to help those of us who are trying to get pregnant. But when you want a baby so badly that it hurts, it's always in the back (or front) of your mind. How do you stop focusing on it? How do you get it out of your mind? Because every time my husband and I make love, we wonder...and it's difficult not to wonder. I'm not so stressed out that I'm obsessed about getting pregnant. But there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about it several times. I don't know how NOT to think about it. Thanks in advance for any genuine answers. God bless u.

I only need answers from other moms that have been through the same please!!
I just switched her from breastmilk to formula, soy formula now, cause I think the lipil with iron may have something to do with it. Anyways, I called the doc and she said try prune juice with water, did that, nothing, now its the next day, I called her back she said try glycerin suppositories, I tried that and only got a little brown liquid out of her. She is straining so badly, I can tell shes in alot of pain and its breaking my heart. I just wish I could take it from her. I have also tried holding her legs up to her chest to open her up a little bit, and again, all i get is a tiny squirt of brown liquid. Sorry to sound so graphic, I just really want to help my little girl. Im sure anyone else that has been in my position knows what I mean. So does anyone have any other suggestions, I will call the doc before doing anything, Thank you!!!

Well I've been on the pill for a year and took some tests a few weeks ago to make sure I wasn't pregnant. They were all negative. But since then, my stomach hasnt been feeling the best and I haven't been into eating much and when I do find something I want to eat, I ONLY want to eat that. Is that normal?

does it hurt when ur water breaks? i went to the bathroom right and i was done peeing and i stood up and there was more water comeing out .. i told him i hope my water didnt break... it wasnt alot of water but i could have filled half a glass full..... and it didnt smell like pee at all so i dont know what to think?

I just heard of someone who still nurses her 3 year old! In my opinion that is way too old. What do you think? Do you know of anyone who continues to breast feed after a year?

No, I am not a nursing mother. In fact, I bottle feed my daughter. She is almost eight, one of the top in her class and rarely gets sick. She was reading at a 3rd grade level in Kindergarten. I don't think I damaged her by bottle feeding her. So please no bashing me!
