Any idea for baby names?
Boy and girl names. I would like something that is unusal, but nothing that will get them beat up in school.
I was thinking Atticus Johnathan for a boy, and calling him AJ, but for a girl, I'm at a total loss.
Is Mia short for anything?

I don't really like Atticus Johnathan. It is spelled too weird--he will get beat up in the schoolyard for sure! As for Mia, I absolutely love that name. It is simple yet sweet and adorable. Not hard to spell, not hard to pronounce yet still an uncommon name most of the time. I think Mia is lovely. Here's my list of names that you could consider:

Boys: Liam James
Gavin Elijah
Ryan Oliver
Noah Jonathan

Girls: Mia Sydney
Mia Josephine
Mia Soleil (pronounces So-lay)

Madelyn Josephine
Olivia Rachel
Rowyn Emery

I like the name Brooke Ivy,for a girl, and Emmerson for a boy or girl. You could have cute nicknames with Emmerson, for a girl,like-"Em" or "Emmy".Kellen is cute for a boy too.My sister is giving her baby 3 names and I really like the 3 name fad.I have 3 names too!My name is Vira May Misty,I hate my name!!I was named after my 80 year old grandma!!Mia is very cute,I'm not sure if it's short for anything though.i like ,Emmerson Jo,"Emmy Jo" for a girl,or Emmerson Joe "E.J.","Em J." for a boy.

Atticus Johnathan will mean (Atticus)Father-like (Johnathan)Gift of God, its a nice name, and AJ is surely a good short name.

Mia means Mine in Italian, Also a short form of AMELIA or MIRANDA.

What's your husband's name? you can try choosing a combination of your husband's name (1st letter) and yours (1st letter) to make the names for your kids. like for example, my first name is AJAY and my wife's First name is ROCHELLE, so we took the "A" from AJAY and "R" from ROCHELLE and came up with name for our two sons, they are Arnold Raffael and Ronald Alistair, so any which way you put it you all will have a similar common first letters.

ok, Ajay means Invincible, Rochelle means Little Rock
Arnold means Eagle, powerful, Raffael means Healed by God
Ronald means mighty and Alistair means Defender of Men.

Do look up at http://www.babynames.com for more names and meanings, we did spend a lot of time on choosing the probable names, we also thought that if one of them was a girl then it will be Aphrodite meaning Goddess born of sea foam with strong powers of attraction.

All the Best!!! Have fun choosing a nice name

You could always have some throwback names to the Grecian or Roman age...

Augustus
Adophilus
Alastair... i could go on for a while

Personally, I like the quirky (nick) names from people born around the 1920's. (Sparky, Gypsy) etc. They are kinda fun and unusual.
