I first felt my baby move when I was 2 1/2 months pregnant no joke. But I had a very active baby. Some doctors and people say you will not feel your baby move until ur 5 months along. But I did.

I was at 18 weeks when I felt my baby move in my first pregnancy. Although at the time I wasn't sure if it was gas or baby moving but my week 22 I knew exactly what was going on down there. The movements have only gotten stronger and have become more frequent since then. Also, don't worry about feeling the baby move, then not feeling anything for a day or two. Every baby is different in its movements, even between different pregnancies for the same woman. Your body weight and babies' position are just two of the things that could affect the sensation.

Hi, first of all congratulations!!! I have had 3 kids, I was about 3 months alone when I felt something, it wasn't a big move but it was a move. If you haven't yet you can and will get the chance to hear the baby's heart beat. But I would say that if not the 3rd month you will mostlikely feel something by the 4th. It all has to do with how big the baby is, if it's tiny you want feel much of anything. by the way at first it's hard to tell baby from gas movement. Good Luck and God Bless. Sarah

18 weeks with my first (during the Michigan/Michigan State football game), and I felt this baby move at about 14-15 weeks (but I only feel it move most during the nighttime when I'm trying to relax...I stay pretty busy during the day at work and then coming home to take care of a toddler. I'm sure it moves quite a bit more).

I felt him move around 20 weeks. I think I could feel him a little before that, but I didn't know what it was.

I was 20 weeks with my 1st, 14 weeks with my 2nd and 17 weeks with my third.
It really just depends on how big you are, and how big and active baby is. Also depends on which direction baby is laying. If the baby is facing in, you won't feel anything.

I was about 23 weeks along and I was getting ready for bed, I laid down and got comfy. My fiance put his hand on my belly everynight while we talked and got ready for bed. Well my baby kicked me, At first I thought it was my fiance tapping on my belly but then the baby did it again. I started crying. It was the most wonderful feeling in the world. Congrats on your baby. If you havent felt the kicks, dont worry you will.

Some mothers will SWEAR in the first trimester even as soon as the first month...and that's impossible say the doctors.
Have to say I trust a mothers feelings over a doctor that will never have that baby.
