Looking for an answer from a doctor/nurse or a woman who has had an abortion....if there is an infection after the procedure does this affect being able to become pregnant in the future? I read that from an infection the fallopian tubes close making pregnancy impossible. Is this true? Have you had an infection and were later able to have a baby? Thanks

i used to be able to feel my cervix but it has gradually gotten higher and now i cant feel it at all. is this normal? im 20 weeks pregnant with twins.

Ok, I got my period this month on the 1st; and it was very light the forst day, heavy the second and after that I started spotting. My period is usually four days long and the first 2 days it's very heavy.
I've been really tired for the past 2-3 weeks and also having some cramps in my lower abdomen(like when i get my period). Now I'm starting to feel like I'm getting sick( a bit of a sore troath). also my boobs have been sore for the past 2 weeks.
Could I be pregnant even if i had my period?

My sis is getting a divorce. She and her daughter are currently staying with me and im sorry to say that she is a neglectful mother. SHe is staying in my basement and she has made it EXTREMELY dirty. she never cleans, she is never home, she barely feeds or bathes her 4 yr. old, she doesnt spend time with her and the little girl is running around spelling like pee and poop because she isnt potty trained yet and my sis wont change her diaper. She gets $800 a month for child support but she spends that money on clothes and getting her nails done etc. she also has a full time, good paying job but I have to buy food, clothes and other necessities for my niece because she wont. Should i call her ex husband and tell him whats going on or would i be crossing the line? I love my sis to death but im so worried about my niece.

I am 31 weeks pregnant and when I stand up from getting out of the car etc. I get a rush of fluid like I am slightly wetting myself is this normal? But other than that no fluid any other time. This happens even with an empty bladder!

My husband and I are trying for our second child. Recently I quit taking the Depo Provero Shot. I have been off the shot for 8 monthes and I still have not had a period or thought that I was pregnant. I have even taken pregnancy tests but they are alway negative. How long does it take for you bady to get back to normal?

I have a question, and I am not sure what it could be. I usually have my period in the middle of the month. It was weird in July I had it in the middle approx and in Aug I had it in the beginning started on the 2nd of Aug. I am not sure what happened.....any ideas?

My wife is pumping and bottle feeding our two week old. He seems to eat non-stop and never get full. This can go on for 2-3 hours and he eats only 2-3 ounces during that time. Is this a normal rate or could something be wrong with the nipples that we are using? We tried a stage 2 nipple on the bottle but it was too much for him right now..

Is this slow eating normal?

Say, if I am in my "fertile" time, what is the exact longest time sperm would last in the vagina once ejaculated? (example, semen was deposited on Aug 8th....how long would that have lasted if I was "fertile" and it was the right enviroment for sperm?)

I have had 3 miscarriages in 3 years from my boyfriend of 3 years and i also have 3 children from my ex-husband. These pregnancys were healthy and i had no problems. Well i was just recently was seen by a gynocologist and without checking me and going by my pregnancy history and the way my miscarriages happened, he told me that my boyfriend and i need to get blood tested because it might be chromosonial and we may not be able to have children together. I had a pap smear in may in the same clinic by a different doctor and he told me that my cervix was open and said he couldn't say for sure but this may be the cause for the miscarriages. The gynocologist made this evaluation on just going by my medical history and didn't bother to check my cervix when i brought it to his attention. My boyfriend and I want to have a child together and took this very hard especially after 3 miscarriages to learn that it may not be possible for us to have children.

you see it most days, a pregnant women smoking (&sometimes also drinking alcohol). Why bring a child into the world, who didn;t ask to be, if they can't get clean first. I hate to think of that little baby in there breathing in all those 2000 harmful chemicals. Anyone else feel the same?
