How do i know when I ovulate is it when it is up or down and by how much.

you can put your temperatures into http://www.fertilityfriend.com and it will calculate for you. you do have to have a temp rise for 3 days to occur ovulation

Your temperature will rise when you ovulate. It will be steady for a couple of days and it will rise again. It's totally normal. Just keep in mind that you need to take your temp. every morning as soon as you wake up - before eating or drinking anything.

it's when the temp goes up and remains up for 3 or 4 days. it depends on the person as to how high the temp will go up. my increase was very subtle and I hardly noticed it. i had to have my dr review my chart to tell me when I ovulated. good luck!

Your bbt will rise slightly (about a degree or so) coinciding with ovulation and will stay elevated until you get your period (unless you get pregnant.)
