You have "dropped." Your baby is now settled on your pubic bone, preparing for delivery. This isn't just normal, it is necessary. If you are a first time mom you might deliver any day, or you may carry a little longer that expected. I was 42 weeks (2 weeks overdue) with my first son before the doctor finally had to induce me. Thank god, bc he was alredyhe was 8# 3 oz, sunny side up, and I was only 16.
PS Watch for your "bloody show" if you are a first time mom. This will be a little bit of blood, maybe a little plug shaped. It only appears the first time you are pregnant. It means you cervix is opening. Watch out for any fluid leakage as well. Once your ambeotic fluid has ruptured, you should deliver within 24 hours, or risk of infection goes up.
Hope this help you. Good luck!!!

Yes it is. It means that the baby is getting lower and closer to the birthing canal. Wow, how exciting. What used to help me with the pressure was to rock my hips side to side.

It's just caused by your baby dropping down ready to be born. But if your worried, speak to your doctor.

Absolutely! If you have any menstrual-like cramping, or discharge, call your doc. Don't worry about "bothering him" because I wouldn't call for that reason and I had my baby 4wks early. Good luck
