hi all....some background abt myself...married for 5 mths now. last month did some blood tests to make sure my hormone levels r okay and the result: all normal.
and now my plight...i hv not got the period i was supposed to get on the 4th. thought it could be tht i m preg but 2 tests (1 on the 4th and another 1 2day) were negative. i do have these symptoms though
- nauseous (all the time and when i get some strong smell - newspaper, perfume etc
- carsick
- last two days had some brown stringy discharge (not present today)
-NO sore or tender breast (funny, since i get this without miss prior to my period)
- some kinda queasy feeling tht is kinda like heartburn

cld anyone who have had similar symptoms pls let me know what i shld be doing next? i am juz worried that all these symptoms cld be an indication of something else...or maybe not!

my 8 year old had speach problems his whole life and finally got his tonsicles removed and they found several lumps in his throat and had to remove them he is fine but because of the lumps the say he couldn't hear the sounds right now that the are gone he is doing better but is really behind. I can't afford a totor so what can i do

My fiance had a vascectomy about 13 years ago. We are going to try a vasectomy reversal this year or early next. I know its supposed to be harder the longer the man has had the original vasectomy. Has anyone had success with this?

i feel like i am hurting the baby if i sleep on my right side now and it seems to be moving when I do turn from side to side at night. Which is the best way for me to sleep without me feeling like I have smashed the baby and he/she is not in there anymore?

Is there anything my husband and I can do to get our 20 month old to want to do more with my husband? My husband feels like our daughter doesn't like him. She crys ALL the time when he trys to do something with her, or if he trys to put her to sleep. (Ex. Last night he wanted to put her to sleep when it was bedtime, all she did was scream, scream and cry and cry, she was crying so hard that she seemed like she was in some kind of painhe tried everything to calm her down and to try to get her to lay with him) When I put her to bed she goes right to sleep with me. She cried for almost an hour 1/2 before he said here I don't want to make her hate me anymore and he gave her to me) I don't know why she is like this or what I can do to help him feel better and reasure him that its not him. I am a stay at home mom and I am with her all the time, I think that is part of the reason. Is there anything that my huband and I can do to get her use to him doing things with her.

I came across an ancient Chinese formula that show if one would give birth to a boy or girl, by knowing the mother's age and what month she conceives the baby. I've checked it against my mom's case and so far it proves to be quite accurate. For example my mom was 30 years old when she conceived me (girl) in April, and the formula (table) shows "girl", again my brother was born in Oct, so my mom (who was 32 years old then) conceived him around Jan, the table shows "boy". I'm so fascinated that I would like to test it further. Would be thankful if you would tell me your age and month (when you conceive) and what gender your baby is.

I am type 2 diabetic and my sugars are in control. My doctor thinks that I'm going to have a big baby between 9 - 10 lbs since two ultrasounds say that the baby is 3 weeks ahead of me. I'm 33 weeks, and the baby is measuring at 36 weeks. She said that based on my height which is 5 2, I would not be able to deliver vaginally and recommends a C section.
Should I go for a scheduled C section, or try vaginally and then opt for a C section if things don't progress? I'm going to be induced at 38 weeks!

Please help. I'm hoping the ultrasound readings are wrong on the baby's size...but if it's 9.5 pounds or 10 lbs, is it still possible to deliver vaginally?

I have noticed a lot that people lately are not married when they get pregnant or anything. I am wondering why that it is? Isn't it harder to raise a child or two alone? How bad is it on the child? I got pregnant when I was 18 and still in high school. birthcontrol did not work. But he and I where already talking about getting married. We just changed the date. My sister has two kids from two diffrent guys and doesn't even know who the father is for the second. She is just bumming off our parents. Is this the norm now? And if so why? I would imagine that it would be horrible. Someone please exsplain this.
