Pregnancy & Parenting - 10 August 2006

and an ear infection, and pink eye, and thrush that has spread to his diaper area, and he vomits everytime I nurse him so he's begining to dehydrate. The doctor saw him last night and this morning and wants me to give him lots of Pedialyte and he's on an antibiotic.
Can anyone give me any advice on helping him to stay somewhat comfortable? Any suggestions will be helpful and greatly appreciated.

i keep having period leaks. and my period isnt even heavy! also, the leaks happen at night! and they leak from the very back part of my underwear, so even if i use a long pad it it stains the sheets and everything! what should i do? *is worried*

Hey I took an HPT and there was a really faint line right before the the time limit was up so I took another and in about 5 minutes I got a line. It was pink looking so I thought maybe I should get a better test {cuz I keep buyin all my tests from the dollar tree, lol I know I am dumb} but now I look at the test and it's gray looking with tint of pink and it looks as if there is a dent in right beside it. Anyone got any clues? Is this an evaporation line?? I am confused. Anyone get a positive test that they thought was an evap line but turned out they were actually prego??? Thanks!

I overheard my folks talking to other parents. Why couldn't my baby story be about me pissing on the old man when he was changing my diaper? I wonder how many people they told? Getting married this year but only plan to have kid next year, so there would be at least half a year birth control measures. Would it be harder to conceive then? and what would be a better way of prevention? (husband suggested condom rather than pills). Would like to know your advices. Thanks.

when i found out i was pregnant i told the father and gave him the choice of being there or not, he chose not to be there, my son is now 3 months old he has'nt rang or tryed to see his son.

at that time i was working now i have opened my own business and i am wondering if i change sitters if it would have an effect on him ( he had to go to her house) i can't ask her to come home and look after him because she has other children she see about. i need to get a live in sitter how can i ensure the change is not too dramatic for him he really likes her and she is really good with him

i had my 35 wk check-up yesterday and she checked my cervix. i didn't think anything of it until afterwards i started spotting and getting cramping in my right lower abdomen.
of course i started getting a little anxious b/c i've had this really great pregnancy without any thing happening, not even a little scramping or spotting.
anyway, i looked it up in my books and talked to dr office today and everything is most likely fine.

i think that doctor should have kept her hands to herself yesterday!
so, i'm curious...
how far along were you when your OB starting checking your cervix??

i was only 35 wks...i think that is just too early and i won't let them check again until 38 wks....

just looking for a consensus! thanks everyone!
