You won't know if you're having a chemical pregnancy not until you know for sure that you are pregnant to begin with. Most chemical pregnancies are hard to get detected with at-home urine tests because sometimes the pregnancy hormone level is too low to show on the urine stick. So most of the time, women with chemical pregnancies don't even know that they are pregnant - it comes out as a menstrual period, a little heavier than normal perhaps, but since it just looks like a period, women don't think that they were ever pregnant. If you get a blood test and it shows positive, then you'll know that you are pregnant. If you get an ultrasound and it shows that there is only an empty sac and no baby, then it is a chemical pregnancy. That's the only sure way to know that you are indeed having a chemical pregnancy - that, and if the pregnancy terminates in a very early miscarriage (chemical pregnancies don't progress at all because there's no baby, so the body just flushes it out). Symptoms that you experience such as nausea, sore breasts, etc. are symptoms of pregnancy as well as of pms. So you won't really know if you are pregnant unless you have that positive pregnancy test result.
Goodluck!

You are probably pregnant. You should take a hpt. How far are you into your cycle. Most women take them on the day they should get there period. You can take them a couple days early though. All a chemical pregnancy is is when the egg is fetilized but doesn't progress into an embryo. The only thing that will happen is your period may be a few days late, that's all. No big deal, happens all the time and you don't even know what happened. With your symptoms you are either pg for real or are ill. See your doctor either way.

You need to take a test. Sometimes even a chemical pregnancy will show up on a test. This is usually one of the only 2 reasons for a false + on a home test. A chemical pregnancy will be flushed out with a period.

You didn't take a test yet to even know if you were pregnant, so you really can't diagnose yourself as a chemical pregnancy. If you get a postiive test and than you get a negative test in another day or so than it's possible to have a chemical pregnancy. Can only be confirmed by a blood test at the doctor's office.

The best answer anyone can give you this early on is you need to take a pregnancy test. Those symptoms can mean a lot of things in women, especially if your young. You can test (with the most reliable answers) 24 hours or more after your missed period. If you get a negative test and still don't have your period within a week, test again. If it's still negative, you need to see a doctor.

Stop looking for answers to questions you don't know how to ask. Until you take a test you won't know for sure. Until a doctor diagnoses it you wonn't know for sure.
