some women have what seems a normal period after they are pregnant.

some women have NO implantation bleeding at all.

some women have just a little spotting, or like a very light period.

So you can't tell for sure. Take another test.

The difference between implantation bleeding a period is that implantation bleeding is blood that is loosened when the fertilized egg attaches to the lining of the uterus so it should be light (spotting) and will probably be a darker red almost brown. A period is the shedding of the endometrial lining of the uterus and will be heavier and should be a brighter red color. The only way to know for sure is to see a doctor because they are both similar.

Implantation is bleeding that occurs around the time you would expect your period. It is only a small amount of bleeding and light. If you got a positive test and are now experiencing bleeding that is heavy enough to be a period, you need to see a doctor to rule out a miscarriage.

A positive is a positive no matter how faint this means that the pregnancy hormone was detected some women still get their period when preg. every woman is different. I would go to the doc and make sure because you could have had a miscarriage and the hormone is not yet out of your system and then again it could be implant. bleeding you should see your doc asap.

You should go to the doctor's immediately. You might have had a miscarriage.
