U dont even know it came, only when u look down and ur spotin blood
But aftr a few months ur body may adjust 2 this change and u may get warning symtoms,,, PMS..but some symptoms associated with it are bloating, watr retention, A funny feeling on d day b4, alil pinch 3 days b4, backache, mood swings, dizziness, pain in joints, vomiting on d 1st day, diarrhea, constipationonly on d 1st day etc and unforgetably cramps...For some it may range from mild 2 i cant move.
But signs and sysmptoms vary depending on ur hormones...4 some becas u have a hormonal imbalance u feel d pain d worst
But usu d pain last 4 the 1st day then u are back 2 ur oldself from the second day
Stop worring about it and enjoy life without periods

It really depends on the person. When I got my first period, I didn't even know it until I went to the bathroom and saw it. I was 11 years old.
For the first few years I never experienced cramping. Sometimes I get cramps and bloating and PMS, but it's not intolerable pain. A little bit of ibuprofin/tylenol/midol always does the trick for me. Also, taking a warm bath always helps me feel better.
Unless you have some sort of disorder that gives you really really bad period pain, you'll be fine. Otherwise, you can ask your doctor and he can give you a perscription to alleviate the symtpoms.
Keep a pad or two in your purse/backpack to be prepared when the time comes!
Good luck, and welcome to womanhood (almost)!

Honey it does hurt but take U some Midal and U will be fine.
It's not like breaking an arm or leg or anything, it's just a cramping feeling that usually only lasts about 3 days at the most.
U will get used to it.
Its all part of being a woman....It's just one of the things that makes us stronger than men...lol

Really all depends on the person. I never got any signs of mine the first time it just happened. Until I had my twins a year ago I never had cramps or anything but now I can tell one week before it comes I get cramps and all. So it depends on your body you might get cramping and you might not. But yes it could hurt just a little but take some tylenol and all will be good.

Stop worrying so much about it. I know it all seems really scary, but it isn't. Your period doesn't hurt at all. Sometimes you can get cramps that are uncomfortable, but they aren't that bad. There are many things you can do to help make cramps less painful (such as Midol, heating pads, etc.).
Women have been having their periods for generations. It is all very normal.

If you get cramps it will alittle sometimes it might hurt allot but just remember your not going to die or anything. My friend got hers and her lower back was hurting and she craved chocolate, I got mine and there it was. Really you can never know till you get it.And after you finish your first period make sure to keep a watch out for the next time because it walnt be the same date as the first because your body has to change to its rhythm.

It all depends on the person. Everybody is different. Some may cramp and have extreme pain others little pain or none at all.
Keep Midol on hand just in case..

If you get cramps it might hurt, and the cramps can be anywhere from very mild to somewhat painful. But the period itself doesn;t hurt.

It depends. I've never really had symptoms when I have a period, no cramping or moodiness. But on the otherhand, I hurt when I'm ovulating...so it is different for many women. If you do experience cramping they have things you can take to minimize it. Good luck & welcome to womanhood!
