My fiance had a vascectomy about 13 years ago. We are going to try a vasectomy reversal this year or early next. I know its supposed to be harder the longer the man has had the original vasectomy. Has anyone had success with this?

I understand the boat you are in. My husband and I got married 2 years ago. He had been married before and had 3 children but I have not been married and have no children. He actually told me on our first date that if we married he would have a reversal. So he did, this past September. We did research and actually found a place in (Tampa) Florida that specializes in Vasectomies and reversals (see www.vasweb.com). We live in Upstate NY but Dr. Stein charged about $3500 total which in comparison was amazingly cheap! Fortunately we had family down there so it was worthwhile to travel! The doctor was wonderful too!
Unfortunately we have not had any luck yet, but I believe that it will happen. The doctor said that the original vasectomy had been performed very well so it was easy to reverse. My husband had gone 6 years before the reversal. Hopefully it works for us because he is 10 years older than me and I really want children! Best of luck to you!

I have under no circumstances considered one as i'm newborn-loose, and under no circumstances favor children. in spite of the undeniable fact that about 3 years in the past I wrote a paper on the problem, for my writing classification. you aren't any further going to love what I even might want to say. frequently the rates given as “achievement charges” are very deceptive. Any surgical procedure that ends up in stay, motile sperm is termed a “achievement”. in spite of the undeniable fact that the variety of “achievement” is a lot from having a infant. many times a being pregnant takes a minimum of two years after the surgical procedure, and that is with IVF. I took an pastime because my ex-lady friend labored in a sanatorium the position they complete vasectomy reversal. The well being care specialist become contained in the corporate of promoting “fake desire” at a really intense cost.
