I install about 50 car seats per month and can tell you that hands down the most "popular" infant seat is the Graco Snugride with the stroller (travel system). It is a great seat, moderately priced, and easy to install. All seats meet the same crash standards, so don't be fooled by consumer reports or over priced options. The main thing is whichever one you choose, you install it correctly and use it correctly every trip!

All honesty the best is Eddie Bauer. It just depends if you want to spend that much. Its around 299.00 but it comes with a stroller and a car seat. It also has a base that you keep in your vehicle that you just pop the car seat in and to release you just push a button. The stroller is made to have the car seat pop into as well. Then when your baby gets older you remove the bar out of the stroller and she can lie in it. kenziebuchanan@hotmail.com if you have more questions.

Graco is great. The infant snugride carseat which is compatible with any graco stroller is listed as consumer reports best buy for your $$$. I bought the travel system and would not recommend any other stroller

Graco! They are not as expensive as Britex, and are jsut as safe. I have the combo so the infant seat can be clipped into the stroller. it saved a lot of time running errands!

I have the Mocha pattern Graco Travel System. I'm not sure about the popularity but it looks nice and above all it was rated high in safety.

Graco is very common. All of my kids's carseats and strollers are made by Graco.

i have the cosco touriva convertable carseat and i love it. it was only 50 bucks at walmart but it's great. it's easy to install rear-facing (haven't tried it foward facing yet, my son isn't old enough) it's big but not too big, alot of convertable carseats are wide and tall, making for no backseat room and cramped fornt room because you have to move the seats up to accomedate it, but this one is great. and it still has enough room for a big baby, but cozy enough for a small baby. i love it.
as for the most popular, you're on your own with that one.
