I am sorry, but most if not all babies look like aliens when they first come out? WHy is that?

I know some of you will try to tell me how cute yours was but I'll bet if you step back a bit and just look you will realize you have an alien baby too!

my 4 month old child will not eat cereal, rice or oatmeal. He is drinking plenty of formula everyday so I don't think I should worry about him receiving his nutrients. He loves baby food (bananas, sweet potato, applesauce) but will not eat cereal-does he have to have it?

My baby crawls all over the house. She crawls up the stairs [Ihave 20 stairs] and the last two stairs she walks up [because she is learning how to walk] and when her dad comes to pick her she huries crawling up the stairs. what should I do??????????

This is a serious question (even if it does seem amusing).

Wouldn't it just be easier and cheaper for the woman to have sex with her partner's brother or friend or use a turkey baster and another guy's sperm perhaps?

If they went for the sex-with-another-guy option it wouldn't have to mean anything. Is it because people think it would be immoral? If so, shouldn't they be more pragmatic about it if they want kids that badly?

I have spoke to many people who have had natural childbirth including myself and you forget the pain you went through. I only remember bits and pieces of having my son.I do remember being in pain but it's real faint. Does anyone have any idea why this is? Do you feel the same way? I was in labor for 17 hours. My son is now 3 1/2 years old and it was shortly after I felt this way.

I saw a kid today at chuck cheese barefoot and with no shirt on he was at a birthday party i was there with my two kids that were also barefoot how could a parent let there kid go to a birthday party without a shirt on at chuck cheese. and when the lady pickup her son she had two other kids with here barefoot and no shirt

I'm 21 and my cycles have been irregular since I stopped taking my birth control almost a year ago. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for months, but with no results. My cycles have ranged from 33 to 41 days within the last 6 months. This cycle, I am now on day 56. Even though my cycles are naturally irregular, how long of a cycle would be considered normal at this point? Is pregnancy a possibility? Usually I have severe bloating and cramping up to a week before my period is to start, but so far have had none of that. I feel completely fine with the exception of having soft stools. I've been to my doctor several times but he's found nothing out of the ordinary. I've been trying for so long to get pregnant that I'm afraid to get my hopes up yet. For those out there with irregular cycles, do you sometimes have severly longer cycles? Any advice would be extremely helpful with this.

Is it safe to bathe during pregnancy? My doc suggested swimming as great exercise so why would bathing be a prob? My friends freak out when I say I just got out of the tub. I see my doc tomorrow, just thought I'd ask the board for now.

I have a 5yr old and 7yr old daughters. They are constantly hitting and slapping, kicking and punching. My oldest throws her weight and body slams her younger sister! I am tired of this and can't find a solution that will calm them down. They do not listen and are constantly starting trouble with each other! HELP!

we live in a very small country town. The nearest school is about 15 miles north of us. I work about 45 miles south of us. Because of our location and the amount of drive time between the places, we cant enroll our boys in any sports or activities. There would be no way to get home in time to get them to games or practice. I dont get home till almost 6:30. They have to stay with a neighbor till me or my husband get home. He is a truck driver so we never know his schedule day to day. Obviously there are not sports or activities besides church in our town that they can be in. None of their school friends live in our town, and we dont even know any of their parents anyways, so having someone else take them and pick them up for games, practice, etc. isnt even an option. It is hard to explain all this to two boys. How do we make them understand that it just isnt possible for my husband and I to work and get them involved in sports also right now?

This is my second baby and I haven been told that after your first child the uterus has to work a lot harder than usual to go back to size. But mine hurts so badly that I cannot even breastfeed her, it starts cramping so badly that I have to stop.I want to breastfeed and my milk is beginning to come in today. When does this pain go away so I can breastfeed my baby and not hurt anymore?
