Its common as long as you are not having cramps
But you still should go to the emergency room because everybody experience different pregnancies.

Warning: this answer is a little gross...Spotting can be normal in the frst trimester, but generally only early on (around 5 weeks.) Spotting, as opposed to bleeding, is usually brown or pink (not red) and doesn't have any major clots in it. You should call your dr. just to be safe, but they will likely tell you the same thing. If the spotting continues, they will probably have your progesterone level tested (if it's low, you will have to take a supplement in the form of a suppository) and an ultrasound.
If you have any cramping or clots, or if the spotting becomes more like bleeding, you should call your ob, or better yet visit the ER. Good luck!

can be...I am now 20weeks i had a very light spotting at 8 weeks all was FINE. However I have also had a miscarriage before at 10 weeks that started as light spotting also. If you are miscarrying there is nothing any doctor can do before 12 weeks. Sometimes a spot will still result in a healthy pregnancy sometimes it can be signs of a tubal pregnancy or miscarriage also have your doc look into the cause.

Spotting does occur during the first month or so of pregnancy , (its common is some women) first things first however , Is this your first pregnancy ? Do you have a family history of health problems. Is the spotting occurring with pain ? If you are really worried call your OB doctor .

I had recognizing and easy-weight bleeding from 4 a million/2 weeks with the aid of approximately 9 weeks with this being pregnant, and that i'm now 24 weeks with an quite healthful little boy, and a splendidly ordinary being pregnant. My docs informed me that 30% of girls experience easy bleeding contained in the 1st trimester, and it somewhat is generally unexplained. whilst it is not seen "everyday", that's situation-free, and until eventually you experience indicators of a miscarriage (intense cramping, bright pink bleeding this is sufficient to fill a pad and/or is composed of clots), it somewhat is basically positive. honestly touch your rfile every time you have bleeding of any sort, yet attempt to no longer situation too lots until eventually your indicators worsen. solid success!

I think only if it is around the time when a period would be expected. I would put a call into the doctor's service and have someone call you back immediately-just to be on the safe side. Good luck!

No bleeding/spotting should be considered normal. It can be an indication that something is wrong with the pregnancy. It is always best to consult with your doctor's office.

It happened to me with both my babies and freaked me out equally each time! Give the OB a call - they'll likely advise you to take it easy and keep an eye on it but it's worth the call! Good luck!
