I just turned 15 and my father and mother gave me permission to get my nose pierced and I am a little nevorus. So is there any advice or tips someone can give me before I get it done.

Go for it girl! A tiny stud looks cute. I got my nipples pierced and the anticipation was the worst. It's no big deal though. Watch the person who is doing it. Be sure they wear gloves and use sterile needles that they take out of an unopened package. If you take it out because you decide you dont like it, you will barely even have a scar. No one will be able to notice unless you tell them. Good luck!

I haven't had anything but my ears pierced. But, I think if I was going to get something pierced besides my ears I'd take a friend. Or my mother. :) (Then again, I'm crazy enough to bring in a Hello Kitty doll to squeeze.) Of course, breathing deeply and trying not to be nervous will also help.

Good luck! Be sure to ask around and do research, find a clean and safe place. I hope you like your new piercing.

I did mine at home with ice and a regular earring. Yes it hurt like hell. But after a while you get used to it. Never had a professional type earring in it though so if I had to blow my nose i had to remove it cuz it hurt getting stabbed by the dang thing. I would recommend a hoop if you really want to go through with it.

Heres my advice because I got my naval pierced 3 yrs ago, is that "anticipation is worse than reality" getting a piercing such as your nose, naval, ear, tongue, whatever only takes a few seconds *thats it !!!* and its just a quick pinch, thats only stings for the initial second and then it goes away, but like I said "Anticipation is worse than reality"

Don't let anyone tell you that it hurts really bad. I just recently got my tongue pierced. If you take someone with you it helps. If they want to get theirs peirced too, you go first. Then it will take away your nervousness. I watched my sis get her tongue gaged after I got mine pierced. If she would've went before me I would've chickened out.

It just feels like a pinch, like a lil' light pinch, it doesn't hurt, there is nothing to get nervous about. It depends if it's done by professionals or not, I got mine professionally.
