This is a serious question (even if it does seem amusing).

Wouldn't it just be easier and cheaper for the woman to have sex with her partner's brother or friend or use a turkey baster and another guy's sperm perhaps?

If they went for the sex-with-another-guy option it wouldn't have to mean anything. Is it because people think it would be immoral? If so, shouldn't they be more pragmatic about it if they want kids that badly?

I went through years of fertility treatments and met many women who were also going through the same thing. The majority of the money spent was because the woman had a problem. Sometimes, artificial insemination would be used if there was a problem with the sperm's motility, but all the expensive shots, sonograms, tests, procedures, etc. were for women related issues.

yep agree with Beth, in my experience it is the woman that has been the problem.

your question lacked sensitivity to those that might be experiencing fertility probs. there are men out there i am sure that would like there own biological child.
