I'm 14 weeks along and I've been sick for week now.I'm pretty sure that I have bronchitis because i keep spitting up huge green pieces of phylim.I'm worried because my husband's medical benefits dont kick in until this thursday and I haven't been able to see a doctor yet.Does anyone know for sure if my being sick like this can harm the baby in any way???.Thxx....Mel :)

I have an infant car seat from 1999 and I know it has never been in an accident or anything, it is in real good condition. It doesn't say anything in the book or on it that they are good for only so long. Does anyone know if they eventually expire?

OK.. I am trying to pump and get a supply because my husband and I want to take the older kids the an amusement park and leave the two babies with grandma for the day. When I pump, I am lucky to get a total of an ounce from both sides together. Now that makes me wonder if my supply is good enough for my 5 1/2 month old son. Does anyone have any input on this? I have a hopsital grade breast pump.. its a medela.. Thanks!

also I'll have sex lets say 5 hours before I got my period once and I still got my period. and I did the ovlation calender to see when I ovulate to get a better chance and that still didnt work. Then each month my period comes earlier. ex. June 21st then July 19th and now August 7th! Please help thanks!

and now her 15 yr old sister (no relation to my husband) and I am starting to feel like they are ganging up on me on everything. My stepdaughter tells her sister if she didn't like how i talked to her or didn't like me telling her to do something. Anything she gets mad about she tells her sister and then she jumps on me about it. I have a 3 yr old boy of my own and i am trying to treat them the same but it is hard, especially with a teenager. I am not used to her at all. I am overwhelmed a bit and do not know how I am supposed to deal with all this.They feel I play favorite with my son but dont care that he is all I have known for 3 yrs and about the fact that I am trying. They don't realize how much of a change this is for me and how scared I am that I will do everything wrong. please help if you can...

Ok - 37 weeks, I feel like I have the flu. I have been in the bathroom all morning. Some have said this has happened prior to labor starting. How close am I? I can't believe anyone would try castor oil as this is bad enough without it?!?!?!?!?!? I just hope that something happens soon cause if I have these symptoms for another three weeks I may just go nuts!

With this crazy heat and humidity we're having on the East coast, I can't help but think my 6 month old is more thirsty than usual and formula alone isn't enough. I've read that you can give infants of this age juice, but how much and how often? Also, can you give them water alone?

Recently I have been pondering the idea to begin taking the pill for extra safety. Although, within the last 2 years i have had issues with my weight. Obessing and taking diets too far. Im just wondering if going on the pill increases your weight by alot?

Please bear in mind that I am thinking only about accidental obscenities. For example, when playing "the Name Game" with someone named "Chuck" (y'know, banana fana fo-...).

What's the best course of action in such a situation? If the child is not *aware* that she said a naughty word, how grave is the risk that calling attention to the fact will encourage her to repeat the word in the future?

I mean, if she were to start using obscenities in context, where it's clear she heard someone else saying it and is parroting them, I'd have to step in on that. But telling her "don't sing that song using the name Chuck" just seems like it would be inviting trouble, because then she'd want to know why. Wouldn't it be better in such a case to shrug it off and just try to distract her away from that name when singing that song in the future?

(Note: This isn't actually an issue yet. I just watched the "South Park" movie again last night and had this come to mind.)

Ok, supposedly ultrasounds done in the second trimester can have a 2 week error. But what if the date on my ultrasound (gestation age) says +/- 6 days. Should I trust that it's around 6 days rather than 2 wks?

It has been 4 days and she is having vaginal dishcharge we have only been with each other and nobody else. She is real worried about due to her parents and my parents and what they will do. I think her dad would kill me. Is there a chance she wont get pregnant. If i can get through this im not having sex again until her parents know about it and she is on the pill. I wish i had been smarter to begin with I guess i was was just to dumb to realize the consequences of having sex. I turned 19 and she will be 18 i just need som advice im scared and dont know what to do.
