I'm 14 weeks along and I've been sick for week now.I'm pretty sure that I have bronchitis because i keep spitting up huge green pieces of phylim.I'm worried because my husband's medical benefits dont kick in until this thursday and I haven't been able to see a doctor yet.Does anyone know for sure if my being sick like this can harm the baby in any way???.Thxx....Mel :)

Probably not, but I would get to a doctor as soon as you can. Just be wary of any medicines. Robitussin is ok to take, as is Sudafed. Just don't take anything with aspirin or pseudoephedrine in it. Those things are harmful to the baby. Also, make sure you're drinking lots of water. It will hurt the baby if you get dehydrated.
But I feel your pain. I've been sick about 4 times during my pregnancy so far and it's not fun.

You and the baby should be fine, just dont take ANY medication without your doctors okay first. Even over the counter stuff. You never know what is in it and if it will hurt the baby.

You should be fine. I was sick while I was pregnant. Just call the doctor or advice nurse to see what you can take or better yet, to see if you could get an appointment.

I don't think so. I had a sinus infection for 2 months and there was nothing they could give me. when you start getting a fever that's when you worry. Even then you can at least take Tylenol.

no,just don't any cough syrup cause some has acholol in it
