Hey, I'm 16, truning 17 in october, and I've been with my boyfriend for almost two months. I know we haven't been together long, but we really care about each other, he always asks when i'm going to tell my mom about us. I told him that if we make it to a year i'll tell her when i graduate from HS, but he doesn't like the fact that we have to sneak around to hang out together.

I know how my mom is, she already said that i couldn't have a boyfriend until I go off to college. She would kill me and her trust in me would be damaged if I told her. I think it's best to keep it under wraps till i graduate. What do you guys think?

Here is the thing, I have broken one of the "textbook" parenting rules. I have rocked her to sleep since she was a newborn and now that is the only way she can fall asleep. Therefore, she wakes all throughout the night wanting to be rocked, or to nurse, or her pacifer. The longest she stays asleep at night is and hour in a half. I am SOOOOO tired!!! LOL I need to know how to teach her to fall asleep on her own. Does the "cry it out" method really work? How do I do it? Do I start at naptime or bedtime? Will it hurt her to cry for a long period of time? How many days will it take? Lots of questions, I know! I would appreciate any advice I can get. Mommy & baby are TIRED!!!! Please help!! Thanx!!!

i cheated on my husband on marh 10 usig a condom. then i had a period on march 20-26. i had unprotected sex with my husband on april 8 and 9. but according to my last period my due date is 12/26. which means i was ovulating april 02 and 03. thats a 5 day difference from the 8 and 9. i am really confused because even though i had protected sex with the other man almost a month before and had a period in between my ovulation date does not match up. i was told ovulation is 14-16 days after your period. if i am pregant with my husband that means i ovulated 18 days after my period. if it is the other mans im a month futher a long than my altra sound shows. needless to say im going crazy could my baby belong to the other man?

ok...so i recently found out i was pregnant...Back in June i stressed out that i could possiably be pregnant at 17...thou this is not my point...and it turned out i wasnt...come July...i had the feeling again...only stronger...alot stonger....and i even told my boyfriend a week before i was to even start my period that i was late....and turned out i became another statistic and was pregnant at 17...now i am about 9 weeks pregnant and very happy...and will be 18 next month...


MY point???

Who has had that feeling wheather you were trying or not trying to conceive...that you were pregnant and turned out to be just that???

My mother-in-law has hated me since I “stole” her only child away from her 5 years ago.

One time my husband joked that I was pregnant and she put on this happy face like she was excited.

When she found out it was a joke, she said she was relieved because she didn’t want ME to have her son’s child.

Well, now we are planning a baby and I know my mother in law will pretend to be happy but will be mad on the inside when she finds out.

How did your mean mother-in-law act when she heard your pregnancy news?

Hello all. I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and during my exam with the midwife she stated that my cervix is still long and thick, but it is REALLY soft (and she emphasized the really soft part). But she didn't say anything else. Since she stated long and thick I didn't really think anything about the last statement until now. Can anyone tell me what does a soft cervix possibly indicate?

My little toddler throws himself on the floor when his requests are denied (for good reason of course)

I get nervous when he screams and I try to get him to calm down by speaking calmly and saying things like "mama said be good" "stop" "its ok" "mama loves you please dont scream at mama" but he is bright red mad at mama and I get nervous and I dont want him to hurt himself but then he starts kicking and making his body "protester" heavy. I dont know what to do. His dad said to ignore him. (but i cant because Im scared he can hurt his head during his little rage) I dunno what to do. Do I leave him alone crying? Please help. He is a good boy 90 % of the time.

My son turns 1 at the end of this month and I have a party planned for him at our house. The kids attending the party will range from 1 to 4. I don't have an extremely large house. I have a large backyard with few trees. I already thought of bubbles...and we'll rent a moonwalk if we have to. I would really like to keep it on the cheaper side, though. Does anyone have any ideas of activities we may do with this age group? Anyone have any suggestions of what they have done in the past?
