I stay home with 4 kids, and my hubby works long hours, so I basically have them to myself ALL the time. No help from grandparents/family either. Am I selfish for considering putting them in a daycare 1 day a week to have some time for me, or errands, shopping, etc.?? "I can't get a haircut, or shop for myself, I can hardly use the bathroom in private without a kid. Help

Before you go off, I am a nurse and I know that abusing alcohol while you are pregnant is a no no! However, there have been studies done that actually suggest that drinking a glass of wine every now and then while you are pregnant causes no harm. I haven't had an ounce of alcohol during this whole pregnancy thus far. However, I am going to be around alcohol soon, and I want to maybe have a drink or two. This will probally be the only time I do it because my husband does not approve of it. What do you think?

When I kiss my bofriend for the first time (he's never been kissed & i've never been kissed) How should I kiss him where should my hands go (around is neck, his shoulders ect.). And for how long and how much. Please answer, and don't tell me just to relaxe it will come naturally , I need real answers.

I recently took my 5 month old daughter to the Dr. because of lumps under her breast and the Dr. told me what they were and that I needed to stop breastfeeding her. But my question is I can't find any evidence to support me stopping to breast feeding.

It is obvious that hormones are passed through breast milk and that they affect the baby but Do I really need to stop breast feeding?


My Dr. is against prolonged breast feeding. He told me to only breast feed until 3 months. That after three months that there is no longer a need for the baby to be fed by breast.

So is my Dr. just trying to get me to stop breast feeding or is the effects of the hormones in my breast milk harming my daughter?

PLEASE ONLY SERIOS ANSWERS AND NO RUDENESS OR WISE CRACKS!!

I am 9 weeks pregnant and I also have anxiety issues. Before becoming pregnant, I was on medicine for this problem. The doctor told me I could take Benedryll to take the edge off my nerves for now until I got far enough along to take my medicine again. The package says its for allergies. How does it help take the edge off nerves?? thanks.

Usually I can't remember my dreams, but now I am having all kinds of weird dreams and am actually remembering them. This is totally abnormal for me.

No, I don't know that I am pregnant, but have had some symptoms. Like the first week after ovulation I was sick to my stomach, all day. That just stopped 2 days ago. Some foods still kinda make me queasy. I had some cramping almost like period cramping, but not as bad. That too has stopped. I am urinating alot and am very sleepy, all the time. Any clue?

And yes, I have taken a test and it was negative, but it's still too early to tell. My period isn't due until Thursday.

The new playstation 3 is coming out soon- in November I believe. Last November I stood in line 15 hrs so I could get an xbox 360 for my 15 yr old son! I got the first one! HURRAY! Now he is dying for this new Playstation 3 that is coming out this year! He is a straight a student who is never in trouble and he really is an awesome kid! BUT I have been saving money and I can either buy him his first car and a years insurance or this $700 Playstation 3!!!!! Asking teenagers- which one would u like most?????

I have been breastfeeding my 1 month old daughter since birth. I am starting to dry up and have switched to formula. The pain from engorgement is unbarable. Is there something I can do to help the pain or possibly even make this transition go faster? I've heard of cabbage leaves, ice packs & sage tea, but do they really work? People keep telling me to take a pill that dries you up, ever heard of that?

Other kids that was also new is fine. They are a bit sad when dropped off but 2 min later the are happy and playing. Mine just kicks and screams when we stop at the school. How can i make it better? Now I cant turn my back and he will look for me and start screaming when im only in another room. He was a good eater now he is a picky one. he also throws more tantrums than usual. Help, i love him too bits but things are getting too much for me. he just doesnt stop whining....and i dont know how to help him and make things better. It feels as if i have lost all patience and i hate myself for that.I dont know what to do.

what is the funniest thing your child has ever said or most embarrasing thing. my son (4) says what the sh*t all the time at first it was hard to punish him because it was so funny that he came up with that all by himself but i got over it. it was just a shocked laughter

and thank you to all who answered before iajust love to see what kids say. they are so innocent.
another story: i was leaving walmart with my 4, 1, yearolds and this slightly larger woman came up and and was saying how pretty their eyes were and all that an my 4 year old right in front of her looks up at me and says "mom tell her to move shes fat i cant see the slides." i just about died! my face turned 10 shades of red!

My 6 year old is still a messy eater, he gets food on the table, on his shirt and all over his face. Is this normal and what I do? He already has to clean up after himself and wash the table and wash his face.

There is this man (at least 65) that hangs out in the same park that my son goes to, a local park that is closeby. He has no kids of his own and no reason to be in this park, it is a kiddie park and is completely closed off (except for one door) with swings and a jungle gym. He brings his 2 guinea pigs to the park and sits them on the bench with him, which I see as bait to bring the kids over to talk to him. I have a strong feeling he is a pedophile. Is there anything I can do to get him out of the park? Do I have the legal right to ask him to leave? What would you do? Other parents have mentioned that he is creepy and they want him out as well.
