Does anyone know how you can get into acting?

The only problem with acting and or singing is you can be totally awesome and the best ever in your field BUT the right person HAS to see you! If the right person doesnt see you- it wont happen for u. First you totally need to get some acting classes for experience then move to LA and you definetely need an agent who will have a photo shoot for u and that way you have a picture porfolio to show prospective people. If they DO call u for a screen test- they will have u read a few lines as that character and film it. Then the panel of people will look at that video and decide if you are the right one for the part. If you are TADA U R A ACTOR! Good luck to u. Always have a back up plan though! Make sure to get an education while u r trying to make your dream come true!

You have to start somewhere, you really need to start in plays to learn basic acting skills and to be able to learn to take direction. There is specific terminology and technique in drama and you won't learn that automatically because you are cute. You have to work at it. Once you have some experience in plays and working with a drama coach, then you can start looking for an agency to help you find jobs~ commercial work locally to start. When you decide after all that, that this is what you want to do... then make the move to LA or NYC and continue to learn and grow as an actor. Most actors do not become "big" actors overnight, it takes work, talent and a good bit of luck. :)

go to auditions, join a theater club maybe some will see you acting and may put you in a movie.

acting is serious work. it isn't for everybody. if you are serious, I suggest taking classes at an acting school
