Pregnancy & Parenting - 5 July 2006

The baby was born this morning at 7:32 am est. 5 weeks premature. Lungs were under-devlopped but not too bad. There was a blockage in the unrinary tract. Despite neonatal intensive care, the baby survived just 4 hours.

First off, my brother didn't want to go to school, but growing up in an asian family your are pushed to do good in school. My mom and uncle decided to send my brother to college. When the end of the year came, they asked for his report. Now I knew that he wasn't doing good or anything but he was trying. Now my sister is siding with my brother saying that he doesnt need to go to school to be successful but my mom and uncle ask "What are you gonna do without school?" Then theres me... In the middle.. What do you think I can do?

My neice was pregnant and the ultrasounds showed a possible spinal cord problem- maybe hydrocephalis. They agreed to genetic tests and were warned that there was a 20% chance of misscarriage from the test. They had an amneocentisis and she lost the baby the next week. Genetic testing showed there was NOTHING wrong with the fetus. What do you think?

My daughter has friends come over all the time. Most of her friends are good about the no shoes rule in the house but a few of them I see walking around my house with shoes on. How do I get them to take their shoes off without being mean about it. My daughter and I always walk around the house in socks.

..My Last period was May 29th - June 2nd..

..& it's Now July 5th..i took a pregnancy test last thursday it was Negative..and i went to my Gyno last Friday..and she said it was still too early to tell..i took another pregnancy Monday..july 3rd and again it was Negative..i have no signs of pregnancy or my period..
i've never been late for a period in my life...they've always been right on time! it's July 5th now..and i really worried! am i pregnant or not? what do you think? i'd really like to know rather than not know..at least i wont stress about it anymore.

My husband and i have been trying to concieve our second child for 9 months now.We are both young healthy and strong with a previous healthy pregnancy.Ive been to the gyno/ob and everything is fine.However im confused on how to time the conception-everyone says to start trying 10-14 days after your last menstrual cycle-is this 10-14 days from when it began?or 10-14 days from when it ended??????????

i have gotten mt first period since having my baby girl via c section 8 weeks ago, and it is extremally heavy. i am having to wear a pad as well as a tampon as it just leakes everywhere. its so painfull, stronger than any other period. having to change every 2 hours or so. is this normal or should i go see my gp?

I had a miscarriage the day after I got married. It was June tenth when I lost the baby and I was only 5 weeks along. The doctor says I am fine to start trying again but alot of people keep saying to wait till after I have a normal cycle. I just wanted to know if anyone got pregnant after a miscarriage before a normal cycle and carried there baby full term???

She says her G-Spot is very deep and that I am way to short to hit the target. She says her last boyfriend had a curved penis that hit the G-Spot everytime. I have heard that many people who agree with abortion say that since they don't know whether that which is inside a mother;s womb is human or not, abortion is acceptable. My question: Why, if one doesn't know whether the fetus is a human or not, would one take the chance of killing a person?

Shes a virgin... sort of... well i'll be as graphic as possible.. i got half way inside her and then she just couldnt take it. it hurt so much. i was as slow and gentle as possible pushing inside her but it was no use. she says it hurts more than anything and it might be awhile before we try it again. what should i do?

I'm on a generic form of Ortho-Tricyclen (Trisprentic). On June 21st, I took my pill almost 10 hours late. On the 24th, I took my pill about two hours late. And this past Sunday I accidently took one of my placebo pills instead of my active pill. I didn't realize this mistake until 24 hours later, when I took my next pill.

My boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex several times in the past two weeks. My period is due next Tuesday, July 11th. I don't know if there's a huge possiblity that I'm pregnant, and I was just wondering what some of you think about it. I've been a little fatigue, my breasts have been a more tender than usual, and I've noticed that I feel thirsty/dehydrated more often.

I'd appreciate mature reponses. :-) Thank you.
