Im 31 wks pregnant and Ive had persistant chest pain for little over an hr. I thought it may be heartburn so i tried eating peppermints, rolaids, drinking milk, drinking water, and drinking pop to make myself burp...nothing seems to help. Is this something I should worry about?

My daughter is 9 mths old and still breastfeeding every 2 - 4 hours, and occasionally getting baby food. I have not gotten my period as of yet, and am not consistent with my bc pills. They give me bad headaches. I am basically wondering how to tell when or if I am ovulating, and what signs to look for if pregnant. I am always nauseaus (sp), so I cant base any signs on that.

ok i'm 15 and my BF really wants a child and i know he's the type to take care of his children we have been T/g 4 a year the 17th of this month and i wanted to wait until i was at least 16 or 17 and i want 1 too but i'm afraid of wat my parents'll say especially my dad cause he stays with me and i really dont care 4 wat my mama will say my sister had he 1st when she was 17 but got pregant when she was 16. i wanna know wat should i do?????

I've been on b/c for 4-5 yrs. I'm 25 and never missed a period. I missed a period and had some slight spotting. Hpt was -, few days later went to doc and it came out +. I went to another doc's office few days later, it came out -. Now I got another - where I first had the +. No period for 2 months, have symptoms, confused. I'm making an appt but can't wait!!!! Has this happened to anyone?

I am 26 and have really been wanting to have children lately. I seriously don't know why. I am established, educated, and make good money. I have a significant other of 4 years 9 months. We have been having unprotected sex for the entire time we've been dating. He's not ready for marriage and children because he doesn't have a great job with benefits that pays well even though I could do just about everything myself. How do I fix my mind to rid myself of my desire to get pregnant. Is it selfish that I have this want? I do want to be married before I have children, but I don't want to conceive after age of 27. Please help!

OK so i got my period on the 17th of last month it lasted 4days, i did have unprotected sex between that time, yesterday I had some light bleeding while having sex it didnt smell or anything like a period, can i be prego what can it be? i had lots of cramping yesterday as well as today, and i always have back pains but today was stronger than ever, lower back. what can it be?

my son has been putting his finger in his anus now for about a month he does it almost everytime hes naked and when i take his diaper off im worried cause he wont stop is this normal or should i take him to a pediatrician and see what they say? he healthy not constipated or anything i just never saw this before or atleast not this long please help and dont be rude.

I have been working for the same company for nearly 7 years now. Earlier this year, I left the company for a new job which I stayed at for 6 weeks before returning to my previous company. ( my new manager fought to get me back in a new role) . Due to the circumstances of me leaving, it was agreed that I be reinstated at original tenure, meaning my years of service counted towards benefits I was eligible for, PTO accrual, etc. I rejoined my old company in April of this year. The problem is, I have just found out that I am pregnant and am worried that this 6 week break in service will void my eligibility for maternity leave with this company. In the last 12 months, I have indeed fulfilled the minimum hourly requirement for maternity leave. Does this 6 week break make a difference? I want to check with HR, but I am only 9 weeks along and don't want to raise a flag too early. The ironic thing is that my manager is currently on maternity leave, returning when I finish my first trimester.

Pro-choicers justify their view by claiming fetuses are not living humans. In fact, (from what I have heard and read, many times) pro-choicers claim fetuses are more like parasites, because they take from the woman without giving.

Based on this reasoninng, is abortion a cure for fetuses? Since this "parasite" is only passed via sex, is pregnancy an STD? Since there are thousands of new pregnancies a day, is pregnancy an epidemic? Are born children evolved parasites, (such as viruses) that have learned to survive on their own, and duplicate? If so, how can we rid the world of them?

I've tried giving him cereal, fruits, veggies, and he won't eat them. He eats every 2-3 hours during the day also. Naps are very difficult, will only go to sleep after nursing. If I don't nurse before bedtime feeding , he'll cry for over an hour, same with middle of the night feedings. I'm thinking of going to formula instead to get more sleep. I love nursing but can't cope with the exhaustion. Any help that can keep me nursing and get more sleep would be awesome!

My daughter is getting a combo of about 40% breast milk and 60% formula, she only has about 2 bowel movements a day, sometimes only one. She does not appear uncomfortable, is this normal or should I be worried?
