It sounds like acid reflux. You might want to see your ob/gyn about it. You don't want it to endanger your health or the health of your baby. See you doctor ASAP. Good luck. I hope you have a healthy baby.

Heartburn is common when your pregnant try sitting upright so that any gas inside you can come up naturally and less painfully...try not to stress over this too much however if you find that you cant relax then call your doctor and tell them what your feeling. Sometimes your baby just disagrees with something you ate or something you drank . Good posture is very important even though I know that the physical strain of time on you is difficult when pregnant its all too tempting to just slump in a chair. Also at your stage there is less room for your food to digest. Try chewing more and slow down between bites. This should help you . Congrats on your baby please feel free to ask me any other questions that you would like a serious answer to :)

believe me i know it sucks but it really sounds like you do have heartburn. i had it a lot when i was pregnant with all 3 of my kids. try drinking milk or taking some tums and just that nothing else. the milk and tums were a lifesaver for me and hopefully they will work for you too. it is nothing to worry about pregnant women get it worse than others sometimes. think of it this way they say when you have heartburn while pregnant your baby will be born with hair, all 3 of mine had a FULL head of hair. good luck hon.

First off, do what YOU think is necessary. Don't let people tell you that it is heartburn, or that it isn't. If you are scared, go to the hospital. Atleast there they can ask you questions or do little tests to figure out what is wrong. It may just be heartburn, or it may be more serious. Stay calm, and just go get checked.
Good luck!

It's because your stomach gets pushed up as your uterus get's bigger, so everything you eat is digested closer to your chest. Try not to eat spicy foods or foods high in acids. Milk is not good either. Use peptobismal or tums you get further along you'll be eating tums like candy, and you should lay off the pop it's not good for the bones of your developing fetus.

This is going to sound funny but the old remedy to heartburn is bakin soda... put a spoon full into a glass of water and then drink it.
If you continue to have chest pain you should go to the hospital and have it checked.

Don't worry. The baby is taking up more room and pressing against your stomach more. This creates what you are feeling - acid-reflux. One of the causes of acid-reflux is laying down after eating so if you did this in addition to being pregnant it is a double-whammy.
The most comfortable sleep position is on your left side when pregnant.

I think you should considering going to the hospital, as your pregnant and you having chest pain you should get it checkout. For all you no you might have just pulled a chest muscle or might just have intergestion but the risk of you ignoring it while your pregnant isnt worth taking. Remember your taking care of you and lil bub too. Be cool, stay calm and see someone soon ok hon. Look after yourself ok.
cheers :)

No it isnt..its Gas or the baby's feet kicking you..or it could be a need for fresh air( i remeber getting bad pain uder the bust area..most of the time it was gas..but a few times i just needed some fresh air..i ended up in the ER becuase i was so freaked out and in pain..but come to find out its nothing to worry about).
i had it badly during the end of my pregnancy..try Gas relief Pills (simethicone and yes it is safe!).. warm sprite..it doesnt go away right away...it takes a bit...my husband used to pat my back to help me burp it out

It could be acid reflux, but if you don't think thats what it is, call your local birthing center and talk with them. They will be able to call your doctor and see if he/she thinks you need further monitoring. You know your body and yourself the best...only you know if something out of the ordinary is going on.
I actually had a woman who we thought was having persistant acid reflux during pregnancy and after she delivered she was still having the symptoms-only worse. Turns out she had to get her galbladder removed!
Just goes to show you never know for sure. We can all speculate, but only you know if something is just not right. :)
