I spotted after 1 day of missing my period, had sore/tender breasts (nipples). Felt dizzy, and my smell and taste senses were very sensitive. Ive had some mild cramping, which I hear is normal, as the uterus is stretching. No period whatsoever. The only thing is I havent had morning sickness, just nausea sometimes. I just get upset that 1 was + and now this. I've heard some women don't find out until later in the pregnancy that they are pregnant even though it came out negative. I am taking vitamins, since the day they told me it was +.

You can't have a false positive to a pregnancy test. So if you have had even 1 come up positive you should assume that you are pregnant and start taking extra care of yourself. A blood test is a sure fire way to get the best result. Next doctor's visit ask for a blood test instead of a urine test.

Before freaking out (or is it too late for that? :P ), do not rely on what a test says. Hormone levels can fluctuate dramatically, depending on the form of birth control. Most birth control works by convincing your body that it IS pregnant, so that it does not release an egg. Taking a pregnancy test while on birth control, will result in a lot of mixed answers. Wait another month, while being completely free of birth control, and try to abstain from sex until you get a definite answer, either from a doctor's exam, or from your body. Getting a pregnancy test at the doctor is no different from one at home, they use the exact same form of test.

flipping out can cause ur period to do funkythings i though i was prego once and i stopped my period for like 2 wks then took a test and started that night. first u need to take a deep breath and chances are that if u had a positive then ur prego...negative's can be explained by a bad test or u pee'd on it wrong (blah blah blah) positive is a positive, calm down relax and just go to a doc. have them do the blood test thats fool proof.

This has never happened to me exactly. But both of my children were concieved while on two different types of birth control. lol

The only way to know for sure is a blood test and/or an ultrasound.

Good luck!

Go get a blood test, once that is eliminated then a pelvic ultrasound may be in order to check out whats going on

You might have been pregnant at the time of the one test but maybe miscarried.
