Why do Republicans want it both ways? Why is Bill Clinton wagging the dog in 1998, but in 2007 Republicans want to say Bill Clinton didn't do enough on terrorism and fighting the Iraq problems?

I don't understand? Are they just being hypocritical?

People don't realize a couple of things about Hillary Clinton. She's a mother and she raised a child, so she knows what that's about. She has a no-bullshit attitude. She's not afraid to say what's on her mind. And the one major thing that people are overlooking is that she's already been the first lady of this country. Her husband is also ,"BILL CLINTON", who was the president of this country. If she has a situation to deal with, is it not normal to ask your spouce what their opinion is? Together, the Clintons can bring this country back on its toes! A man with the last name of Hunt now owns the oil in Kirkuk. He's donated 35 million dollars to the Bush campaign. That's why we don't hear too much about Kirkuk. The Iraq war distracts the Americans from thinking about Kirkuk. It was on the news with the title of "BLOOD FOR OIL". We need the Clintons to stop stuff from happening that we're not even aware of. Bush's troop withdrawal is another distraction from Kirkuk. Any opinions?

that by stating there are 36 nations fighting together in a coalition in Iraq, that America is part of a larger conglomerate?

The facts are:

1) Originally was 36 nations but 16 have pulled out and it's now only 20.

2) Out of the 20 nations, the USA has 168,000 troops stationed in Iraq, the United Kigdom has 5,500 and the other 18 member nations COMBINED have under 5,000 troops total.

When the US is supplying approximately 94% of the fighting force, is it really a coalition?

Rather than just complain about how kids nowadays score lower on all their tests , I'd rather first ask the opinions of those of you who are younger... .. . I suppose we can start at 30 or under or maybe 25 or younger is better . Both Dem and Rep administrations have spent Billions on the problem and no matter how they distributed the dollars , an incredibly lower amount was spent while we got a better education . Go Figure !
But I'm curious as to what it's like and how do you feel about not getting the same level of education as people who are, say 30 and older ?
Mad ?
Don't Care ?
Feel Cheated ?
Didn't know this until now ?

I've seen references to an International Peace Day on Sep 21 ... and Pinwheels for Peace program being promoted in the schools. http://www.pinwheelsforpeace.com/

I clicked on some links within to see the source and found the Peace One Day campaign, launched by film maker Jeremy Gilley
in 1999. The campaign, which has won support from Nobel Peace Laureates, artists, musicians,
religious and political leaders and millions of people around the world aimed to make
September 21st an International Day of Peace, an annual day of global ceasefire and
non-violence. Officially recognised by the UN General Assembly in 2001.

Who are these people and what is their plan?

I'm concerned about the underside of a seemingly harmless pinwheel in our schools.

Your thoughts?

The republican wants to be successful. He/she wants to have the option of becoming rich and keeping those riches. If he/she is already rich they want the freedom of keeping what they have earned.

The democrat is becomming the party of I want what others want and dont want to work for it. Its the party of give me riches because im poor attitude. its the party of entitlement. But what they forget is that by asking for these things that money has got to come from taxation. Taxation of the rich and the middle class. sure the democratic party is fighting for universal healthcare...but whats going to happen is people will be taxed more to get it. and their station in life will not change. Increase minimum wage? sure but the companies will have to increase prices to cover that increase in cost and peoples station in life will not change.

People point to Britain and other countries and how well their health care and socialist systems work.. yet the taxes in those countries is close to 50% of wages...is that really what you want? do you really all think that will help your overall station in life?

The left often asks why we still bring up Clinton.

Because there are so many hypocrisies on display.

They compare how Bush is treated to how Clinton was treated. Amazing considering I do not recall the right claiming Clinton was a terrorist. Or daily saying he was incompetent, even though he clearly was.

Clinton sent our military into several actions. Notably silent was the anti-war left, which is why the anti-war left has no credibility with the American public.

I can not wait for the 08 elections. The left relies on biased sources for polling data which gives them a false representation of reality. They are so happy they actually think they won Congress In fact a few scumbag republicans lost it. Even if they won, they have done nothing they promised, and their idea of cleaning up politics is to attempt to appoint those in the most high profile scandals today to key roles.

WOW.

I think the left would be best served by realizing there exists a line across which politics should ne

Should we outlaw this practice? This is what is used by the special interest groups, the "designated victim groups," and other politically connected groups to harm everybody else.

Should we make it illegal to lobby the government to take actions that steal from other people (usually the taxpayers) for the gain of a select few?

Jong-Il, Musharraf and Mugabe are genuine threats to their region or their people but the Republicans are relatively silent or supportive of these. Chavez is neither militarily aggressive nor oppressing his people.
