EXCERPT FROM VIDEO:
No, ludicrous. I mean, on one hand, he's a malevolent guy who killed 3,000 Americans. But you read this thing, and it's like he's been sitting around reading lefty blogs, and he's one of these childish people posting rants at the bottom the page, you know, Noam Chomsky and all this stuff.

You can't help read it and not laugh at it, occasionally, because it is just absurd. It's flying this way, and that way, weird conspiracy theories, and mortgages, global warming. He throws it all in there.

high school vote for Dems?

CNN polls showed that almost 2/3 of those who earn over $200,000 per year voted for Bush.

But, almost 2/3 of those who earned less than $15,000 per year voted for Kerry and the Dems.

Its hard for me to be a Democrat sometimes. Every time I turn on the TV or the radio...someone is calling us defeatists, unAmerican, traitors, socialists, etc. Look after the Bush-Kerry election I thought that the democrats felt it was time to move to the middle-demonstrate that we were a party of veterans, a party who embraced religion, who supported our troops, etc. etc. but why is our party leaning so far to the left-why are our candidates embracing websites like Daily Kos and Moveon.org. We will not win middle America, mainstream Americans, normal Americans, if we don't move to the middle. A party that embraces all people, all views not the party of exclusion or hyprocracy. Yes we won over the Congress and the House-but we won with moderate Democrats like John Tester, Jim Webb, etc. I am a moderate Democrat...I believe in God, I suppport our troops, I want peace-I know war is sometimes necessary, I want us to win in Iraq- I love my country!

Republicans have run on this platform since Reagan reorganized the south into 'conservative' factions and gained support of christian fundamentalists, defining the modern electorate to this day, in the Presidential race of 1980. It was brilliant and well done, and, got Reagan into office. But, do Republicans, the politicians, really stadf for much? After six years of total comtrol, searing headline sex scandals, a balloned federal deficit, laws pushing the edge of the constitution, and unneeded wars, seem to be more the symptoms of "conservatism", what do you think?

"Study finds left-wing brain, right-wing brain"

[Each participant was wired to an electroencephalograph that recorded activity in the anterior cingulate cortex, the part of the brain that detects conflicts between a habitual tendency (pressing a key) and a more appropriate response (not pressing the key). Liberals had more brain activity and made fewer mistakes than conservatives when they saw a W, researchers said. Liberals and conservatives were equally accurate in recognizing M.]

I hear this argument used to prohibit homosexuals from getting married. I don't understand how someone else's marriage 49 states away has any impact whatsoever on one's personal vows. Wouldn't really the only things that would undermine YOUR vows be infidelity and divorce?

Democrats have just as much right to live here as Republicans. Democrats pay taxes, perform civic duties, fight in wars, but somehow the Republicans view them as less patriotic. What's up with that?

At present their efforts are concentrated mostly on Middle East, however over the past 100 years pretty much all of the worlds regions, except Europe, has exprerienced some form of American inteference, which resitricts the freedoms and idependence of nations to their populations suffering.
American oppression can take many forms, from assassinating or removing leaders who had support of their
people and replacing them with torture trained dictators, economic black mail, sponsoring and encouraging vile militias to rape and murder, sending their own army and marines to rape and murder, Sanctions, and basically a whole range of underhanded or blatant, evil policies which aim to control all regions who hold strategic locations, and or, valuable resources. My question is how can we defeat this threat who like Hitler, aims to control the world and make us subservient to it?

In the run up to the anniversary of 9/11 should moderate societies consider making the practice of Islam illegal, should it be listed as a dangerous & fanatical cult & banned? If any religious or political philisophy promotes the extreme views voiced by Islam is it not only just & right have it quashed & its followers prosecuted(did we not do this with nazism, another extremist cult?)? Or should we tolerate Islam for the sake of being politically correct? What do you think?

There are some things you just gotta do yourself. Someone else can’t lose your weight, quit your addiction, parent your kids, or confess your sins.
You have to do it. And, just as you can’t buy indulgences that allow you to go right on sinning without any consequences, you can’t buy carbon offsets that allow you to go right on polluting without any consequences, either.

Neither God nor science works that way.
Yet, the selling of “voluntary carbon offsets”—eco-indulgences—is a $55 million per year industry, involving over three dozen companies worldwide. Total sales are anticipated to double both this year and next, and entrepreneurs are clamoring all over themselves for a piece of the action.
And it’s all a scam.

I include a link to an article I read in Yahoo news about scientific findings which suggest that the brains of those who are politically liberal and politically conservative may, in fact, be hard wired for different behaviors.

Please follow the link and read the article, then share any thoughts you might have. What are your impressions? Do you agree? Disagree? What do you think?

Thank you.
