Democrats have just as much right to live here as Republicans. Democrats pay taxes, perform civic duties, fight in wars, but somehow the Republicans view them as less patriotic. What's up with that?

I could care less if democrates stay here or not. It seems that ever election cycle some public democrat threatens to leave the US if the republican wins the white house, they never do, but they should keep their word. The reason I view democrates as less patriotic than republicans is because of what they do. Look up the word patriot, and tell me how that definition is met by the likes of D Durbin, or H Reed, or J Carter. If a person is a patriot they should at least say something good about their country once and a while. They should at least pull for their country once and a while instead of rooting for the enemy or our competition. Democrates do pay taxes, although a large percentage of them receive more tax money than they spend(the underclass that constantly votes dem) They do perform civic duties(but most often as payed government workers)and yes they do serve in the military(15% of our troops voted dem in 04) Bottom line democrates would do better for themselves if they took personal responsibility more seriously and stopped blaming all the worlds ills on the US. If they did a personmight even come to the conclusion that they were patriotic

I'm not a Republican or a Democrat. But I think they should leave the US and go visit some of the other countries where government runs health care or where just saying something against the government gets you beaten or killed or where beacuse of REAL corruption instead of 4.5% unemployment there is over 50% unemployment or where just being the wrong sect of a religion can get you seriously dead!
Too many liberals want Utopia in the US NOW, and yet are oblivious of the fact the US with all her faults is bertter than any other place on this planet. Why do they think the US and it's government is so bad when people all over the world are breaking the law to come here?
The liberals should be putting their actions where their mouths are. IF they want real equality among people they should be working for more equality OUTSIDE the US to what the US has.

maximum Democrats are the two on welfare or artwork for the government for this reason truly they pay no taxes by way of fact all the money comes from the taxpayers. no longer many combat interior the wars. they like to alter each thing we do by way of fact they're incapable of coming up their very own judgements. they can't supply up spending funds that the country does not have. The Republicans do no longer prefer the Democrats. The Democrats are leeches on the backs of the taxpayers sucking the existence out of all persons.

We don't want you to leave the United States? Who stated that? Basically what we would like you to show is a little more patriotism.
All I hear anymore from any democratic politician, except Joe Lieberman, is how the USA sucks. Its the party of negative people. For example, Dick Turbin Durbin and Harry Reid have both said that "we have lost the war." Senator Feinstein has said that the "military cannot win".
Things are not as bad as your party makes them out to be and I am getting tired of people saying that "we support the troops, not the war" or "support our troops, end the war". This isn't Vietnam and it took us over 40 years to heal from that. Why can't you support the troops for a change and support what they are doing instead of coming up with these goofy slogans?

I think it's because there is a perception that the only thing Democrats do is complain, and it's a throwback to the old "If you don't like it then leave" idea. What I would rather see from the people who complain about our government (be they Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or otherwise) is for them to leave the country for a short time to visit other countries where governments are based on the denial of rights as opposed to the guarantee of rights. Let's face it; we have a large group of people in this country who are basically spoiled brats who don't know how good they have it and therefore don't appreciate the freedom we take for granted and how much work it takes to preserve it. Let them go to Central America and watch the Federales shoot people who speak out against the government. Maybe they'll wake up.

Some leap your making here. While some may view the actions of certain Democrats as less Patriotic, I do not recall a push to have them leave the country. That is unless the Democrat in question is in this country illegally.
To me a relevant question would be "Why do Liberals like Alec Baldwin say they were going to leave the U.S.A. if Bush won the election, but failed to do so ?"

It is real simple. Most democrats are socialists. In fact every democrat candidate for president has openly indicated so.
America was not founded in socialism. Most republicans, save those liberal ones like McCain, want America to return control of the country back to the people, the way it was at the beginning.
If democrats continue to fight against America being American, then they should leave. Their ideas and actions are not appreciated by those of us who want the government to allow us to be the rugged individuals we are.

Well, our Nation was attacked. Usually patriotic people get angry at the perpetrators of the attack.
For example, when Pearl Harbor was bombed, Republicans enlisted in great numbers and supported the war effort.
I don't see alot of support for our Nation's efforts from the left. we are not trying to get you out of the country, we would rather you get on board.
