In the run up to the anniversary of 9/11 should moderate societies consider making the practice of Islam illegal, should it be listed as a dangerous & fanatical cult & banned? If any religious or political philisophy promotes the extreme views voiced by Islam is it not only just & right have it quashed & its followers prosecuted(did we not do this with nazism, another extremist cult?)? Or should we tolerate Islam for the sake of being politically correct? What do you think?

I think you can say the same thing about any religion. I do not think there is any religion that does not contain it's fanatics, it is just that Islamic extremists are vogue at the moment. Christian (including catholic) extremists were responsible for lynchings a plenty in southern North America, and catholic and protestant extremists were having a whale of a time at the turn of last century right up to the 90s.

Another problem is that it is impossible to ban a belief. Even if you outlawed Islam, that would not mean that those who follow the teachings will drift off and believe something else. They will still be muslims.

Most of the relgions believe that their"god" is only true"GOD".Christians believe that salvation is possible only through Jesus and non believers will go to hell. The crusades was fundamentally forceful conversion or terrorism. But Islam go further and says that others who do not believe in "ALLAH" are "kafirs "and they should be killed. It is duty of Muslim to coform to Jihad or "killing of non believers".That is how Islam has become dangerous cult.Unfortunately there are millions of followers to this relgion. It is not possible to ban it.If next world war comes it will be between Islam and Christianity ie between USA and Arab Countries.

Since the money for Muslim terrorism comes through petroleum resources ,only economic solution possible.USA should take over the petrolem resources of Islamic countries through intervention of the type in Iraq.Second option is scientific development of alternative to petrol.Vehicles based on Hydrogen may be developed.I a world that dot require petrol Arab countries cannot survive. When USA itself is having large oil reserves ,they may not be prepared to think of a world with out petrol.

Anyone who is threatening violence or encouraging others to do violence should be prosecuted, then swiftly deported.

Even the more moderate Muslim's quietly agree with a lot of the things the extremists call us. Whores, degenerate, immoral, kuffir. I've had personal experience with second generation immigrant Muslim guys, and it's very common for them to treat non Muslim girls as disposable sex objects, willing or not. Our liberal culture is what has advanced our society. If they don't like it, they can just sod off back to the grinding third world poverty and social injustice that Islam has created all over the world.

it isnt realistic to try to ban some body's personal belief. i just think that the rest of the civilised world should 'for the sake of the people' face up to the fact that Islam and the modern world are not. and cannot ever be compatable. by nature of their!! beliefs. not ours. they should have the courage to face up to it too!! i think the truth is that most young muslims who have been born into civilisation have this romantic ideal clouding the reality of the violent unforgiving all controling mennace that is Islam. they sit in their comfortable houses watching TV. go out in their cars to a few night clubs wearing cool clothes and having a good time with friends. do they realise that the life style they are leading here is not permited in an extremest Islamic state. they should be pulled out of their variouse host countrys and made to go back to a strict Islamic country for 5 years. they would soon come around and realise that the west is not evil.

Not all followers of Islam are fanatical killers. But I dont think the religion should be above the laws of our country as it seems to be at the moment.

Apparentlly 80% of british mosques are being taken over by hardline sects despite the gov telling us that its foreign clerics to blame for incitement

We should be able to stop these people from coming here to do this and if necessary close any mosque suspected of theses activitys

As far as I am concerned, Islam got outlawed by me back in my schooldays of the 1940s when I learned that the base religion called Islam [Muhamedanism] gave non Islamists the choice of the book or the sword.

You either convert to or die. A stark choice and one which to my mind condemns so called Islam/Muhamedanism to the burning fires of Hell.

Jesus Christ once said, "I am the way, the truth and the light." No one can come unto God save through Jesus Christ.

JESUS CHRIST, KING OF KINGS, LORD OF LORDS AND PRINCE OF EVERLASTING PEACE.

Oh yeah! One final hard point. On a mosque not far from me there is the slogan, "Mahamid - Gods last messanger on Earth". Bad news then, because Jesus Christ has already told us he will return and on that Judgement day he will cast the evil ones down into the fire.

Anyone who refers to me as 'Unbeliever' in my own country deserve to die a long slow and horrible death.

That day is coming.

how the hell is Islam a "dangerous cult"? i think racism is dangerous cult, along with prejudice and discrimination. besides, nazism wasn't/isn't a religion, whereas Islam is. if you want to ban Islam, then ban Christianity, Sikhism, Buddhism and Paganism. or are they not seen as "dangerous cults" in your eyes?

Yes. Islam is not a religion by any stretch of the imagination. It is a violent and intollerant cult bent on the destruction of Western Culture and the modern world. They should all be destroyed.
