They make a lot of noise, then go along, then claim Bush is totally responsible. Isn't it just chicken poo? When the wind shifts and they claim they've been going that direction all along, do they realize we have them on tape blowing the other direction too?

As I understand it, the DC Appeals Court overturned the handgun ban. The mayor and lawyers want the gun ban to remain in place

Their petition says, “It is eminently reasonable to permit private ownership of other types of weapons, including shotguns and rifles, but ban the easily concealed and uniquely dangerous modern handgun,”

“Whatever right the Second Amendment guarantees, it does not require the District to stand by while its citizens die.”


Mayor Fenty said, “The only possible outcome of more handguns in the home is more violence.”

Jon had a question on a few minutes ago where he asked a smart question about Bush saying OPEC instead of APEC. Problem was, Jon spelled OPEC-----OPEN. I called him on it for making a mistake (just like Bush did). Apparently Jon deleted the question. How long will it be before he resubmits the question with the correct spelling?

I stated a few months ago that we were not leaving Iraq. It's geographical location was too perfect. It has now been revealed we are not and will not leave Iraq.
