All you have to do to see why he was elected, is to look at the educational standards of the states who voted for him.

The statistics clearly speak for themselves.

Our president definitely isn't an intellectual and scorns those who are. He was a "C" student, a wannabe cowboy, and what brain he has left may well be affected by his lifestyle in his younger years.

If he hadn't gone along with the Think Tanks that encouraged a grab for Middle Eastern oil, I could feel sorry for the guy. But he is so fond of "nuculer" weapons and torture, reportedly clapped his hands with glee during "Shock & Awe," and made fun of a convicted convict's last minute attempt to avoid the Death Penalty. There is a cruel streak in George W. Bush.

Definately not the sharpest tool in the shed but then again look at some of the people leading other countries. He did go to Yale but book smart does not mean you have the common sense to use it. As for being a leader, like most polititians, he is beholden to those with money and big business. No matter what the accent or language, money talks and bulls--t walks.

first of all, speech etiquette is not the symbol of intelligence... there have been many that was not able to communicate as eloquently as you would like... einstein was a social moron, but you wouldn't say he was not intelligent.. would ya? and what has he done to america besides continue to make us the envy of the world?? apparently... it still works..

issues you speak of... health, education, and immigration... there are more politicians involved than just the president.. for you to single him out, just shows you have no idea what you're talking about. healthcare... though not perfect and something needs to be done... it's still better than socialized healthcare. as far as education is concerned... test scores are on the rise, higher-education institutions are raising acceptance scores to accomodate... it's getting better.. and once again.. better than what most industrialized nations have in place. and immigration (cause that's what you're referring to when you say "welfare").. my first response is.. kinda backs my point about america... people WANT to come here. even illegally.. speaks volumes. but anyway, i do not agree with the Bush policy on this issue.. the american people spoke up and said "no amnesty".. and Bush, along with most other politicians here, are realizing that the american citizen will not tolerate the negligence. but, that doesn't mean that Bush is "stupid"...

I almost felt bad for him when I read it. Does he have health or mental issues. To make the mistakes he is making it would seem like maybe he is on medication or early stage of dementia and/ or Alzheimer's setting in. I am not a fan of Bush but there is something just dont right with this man.

I don't pay attention to pollitics, because I'm still a kid, but I am starting to look at it a bit. I don't know...Bush kinda..hmm.. he seems like a nice person..but the choices he has so far made, havn't turned out the way he planned.

LOL! Trick him into trying to pet a really aggressive kangaroo. I'd love to see him get the crap beat out of him by one. It would be the greatest footage ever taken of an American president.

Sway_27 : Didn't the Bush Administration invade Iraq because of 'one person' (Hussein)? Does that make supporters of the Iraq War 'stupid'?

I'll bet over half the people answering this question don't even know what OPEC or APEC stands for.

Yes, he went to "school". How about you? Obviously you prefer a slick talker, one who cheats you out of everything.
Offering to work with someone is not the same thing as dictating what to do.
