Actually, I think there were many people crying, some 'libs' includes, when Saddam and Iran Killed 3 Million Muslims in the Iran-Iraq War. You just didn't hear about it.

You want to show where you got that number from? I read it was closer to 300,000 over the course of 30 years. If you count those killed in the Iraq-Iran war.. it would be closer to 1 million.

We've been in Iraq for 4.5 years and 75,000 CONFIRMED dead Iraqi's... lets do the math.. we've been in Iraq about 6.6 % of the time Saddam was in power.. multiply 6.66 x 75,000 = 500,000

So..Bush will be responsible for as many, or more deaths in Iraq ..over 30 years as Saddam.

It's not really blocking, it's just hard to remember all of the wrongs committed by all of the inhuman dictators that republican presidents have supported and been friends with. Rumsfeld even shook his hand and congratulated him for all of the people that he killed, and the Pentagon under Reagan gave satellite photos to Saddam that he used to launch gas attacks against the Iranians, and they continued to pass on the photos even though they knew that's what Saddam would do with them.

Selective "reasoning." I suspect they block the same way they have alsways blocked. They were against Lincoln and the abolition of slavery. They were responsible for the torture and deaths of hundreds of thousands after we were forced to lose the war in Vietnam. Heck! Kennedy himself murdered 2510 men in just over 4 days (read: Bay of Pigs -- he cancelled the support but not the operation itself before they ever launched). Instead, they insist on voting in alcoholic murderers like Ted Kennedy and theives like Bill and Hillary (he was acquited, but still they saw fit to revolk his law license -- wonder why). Not that I'm keeping score or anything -- there's enough "blame" to go around, but they seem (in the long run) to do far more damage than good. Making Bush and the republicans the lesser of two evils.

It wasn't Bush. What advantage would there be for Dems to point this out? An Inconvenient Truth.

ROFL, You mean during the Iran/Iraq war during which the USA was actively giving Saddam (those WMDS) to use on IRAN?

BTW those same WMDS only have a shelf life of about 4 years, and were long expired and emptied. Why we didn't find any, because there were none, and we knew it!

Also, Saddam was on CIA payroll for almost 20 years.

Oh and Gosh the USA is now calling Sadr a terrorist and attacking his Militia's, Just like SADDAM did. Oh Gosh the USA is now FUNDING and ARMING Saddam's old forces.. Gosh.......

HOW DO YOU BLOCK THAT OUT OF YOUR MIND?

The actual number is unknown, but based on population shifts, the number is closer to 100K. Still a large number, but hardly 3 million.

More than 200,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed under the American occupation of Iraq. How do the Reps explain that? Replace one tyrant with another, that's all it is.
