Whilst chasing after 'terrorists' and 'Islamics' neo-cons try to deflect us from the real evil in the middle East... Israel's inhumanity to the Palestinian people.....

Many Americans concerned about the war in Iraq and think we should pull out. Osama bin Laden said that we lost faith in our democratic system and we now need to look to alternatives and embrace Islam. Isn't this what we should do to save our soldiers dying in Iraq for an unjust war? We recently saw a poll that most Americans think Hillary is the least religious of all candidates. Do you think if she wins she will be able to convert to Islam with the rest of us to save ourselves from terrorism?

Osama said we have two options, to either be killed by them or embrace Islam. Shouldn't the Democrats be converting to Islam instead of pulling out of Iraq? Wouldn't it be safer for us all? No longer would we have to fear wiretapping or snooping our libraries if the Democrats can show us to the freedom of Islam that will stop Osama bin Laden wrath. Also, have you guys ever seen a guy with such a big flat nose? I hope if we convert to Islam it doesn't make our nose look like a thumb.

"You can support the troops but not the president"
-Representative Tom Delay (R-TX)

"[The] President…is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation's armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy."
-Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA)

"American foreign policy is now one huge big mystery. Simply put, the administration is trying to lead the world with a feel-good foreign policy."
-Representative Tom Delay (R-TX)

"If we are going to commit American troops, we must be certain they have a clear mission, an achievable goal and an exit strategy."
-Karen Hughes, speaking on behalf of George W. Bush

"I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the beginning...I didn't think we had done enough in the diplomatic area."
-Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)

I have seen questions on this site APOLOGIZING for our US Troops fighting the terrorists by liberals.
Why don't those same liberals ask the TERRORISTS to apologize for bombing the WORLD TRADE CENTER unprovoked?

When I heard the story on the radio this morning about Barrack Obama being stinky (that's what his wife said in Glamour magazine anyway) I was eating breakfast. Since then any time anyone mentions it I get sort of sick to my stomach. Did his wife really need to share this factoid with us? Does this help him in any way?

If you were in a foxhole in Iraq with another American that had a political philosophy that was the opposite of yours, would you defend that person with your life?

Please - no comments about how cons or libs won't fight in a war. I've been there twice and have fought next to both. Please keep it civil.

I often think about how past wars would have been fought and what their outcomes would have been if people were as angry back then and wanted to get out when the troop death level reached then what it has now.

How has instant media (internet, 24-hour cable news) affected our perceptions of wars?

I'd like some thoughts on this.

Here is the full unedited transcript of his speech. I urge you to read it before you start bashing me and calling me names.

http://abcnews.go.com/images/Politics/transcript2.pdf

He talks about "no blood for oil" and how the dems aren't doing what the american people voted them into power for.

He praises Noam Chomsky who is hero to the libs.

He also talks about the evil neo cons and the evil American corporations.

He even talks about America causing global warming.

To tell you all the truth, he doesn't sound any different than the left wing bloggers on this site.

To all of you libs, how does it feel to have your views echoed by Osama bin Laden?

In Australia for the APEC (Asia-Pacific) conference he referred to it as the OPEC (oil) conference in Austria (the other side of the world). An embarrassment for the USA and demeaning for the Australians. Is this the man who is leading a war? Does he ever get it right? Is he your idea of a Statesman?

Joe Biden wants to stay and win the peace in Iraq.
If withdrawing from Iraq was the firm intention of the Democratic party, it would have already been done by the Democrat controlled congress. Do you really believe a Democratic president would withdraw troops from Iraq if the country wasn't stabilized first.
Iraq is too important in the stability of the entire middle-east. No president, Democrat nor Republican, would leave that region in a power void.
Open your eyes. Most candidates who back withdrawal are just gathering votes.

Just to come back later to impose sanctions against them for not complying with this or that? Was not Fidel Castro such a case? So why do neo-cons fantasise about Iraq becoming some US haven of support?
