In the last year, I've been unreasonably turned down for two loans
and denied the priveledge of converting foreign money for
appropriate US currency. This benefits the Nation in what way?

Loans have been WAY to easy to get lately. If you are being turned down why should the government intervene and FORCE the bank to take on a risk that the bank believes is too unreasonable.

No. We need to let capitalist be capitalist. The affects you are describing are the direct result of government regulation - so increasing regulation would only compound the problem.

Its definitely time to rewrite the Bankruptcy bill and allow consumers to have a hand in writing a new one, instead of allowing the banking industry to do it alone.

Regulations don't exist to help you or me, they are there to help the banks screw us over more.

In the USA, profit is all that matters.
