the labour party is a faithless betrayer of the honest working folk who sought a respite from a decade & a half of tory atrocity. i hang my head in shame that i ever voted for the party of my ancestors.

ISMS don't win elections, that's why Labour are in government and not still in opposition. Not even Thatcherism won elections. She only won because she was up against a more hardline socialism a greedy public would never vote for.

The game he is playing is clear. Divide and conquer. Gordon is a clever chap and will be an even better PM than Blair, if that is possible.

The Labour Party (aka 'New' Labour) under Blair was never truly socialist.
Blair's 'New Labour' party was a bit left of Genghis Kahn.
Give Gordon a chance. He hasn't had his 100 days yet.
Where were you during the Blair years, that you've only just woken up?

They realised that If they didn't steal the Tory policies they would never get elected, so that's what Tony did and Gorn is following in his master's footsteps.
