Right on bro! I love America and will die for it no matter where we stand. We are powerful, no matter what anyone else says. We command authority and are the leaders of freedom in the world. I agree, if you dont like our nation, you are more than welcome to get up and leave. But the reason you dont is because you know that the US is the most powerful nation in the world.

I'm sorry but did I miss something here? Isn't America supposed to be the bastion of democratic principles and freedom? I thought that those things meant that people are free to have an opinion and express it regardless of what the State believes or wants. I thought that the right to dissent was a foundation of a democratic and free society. I must have been wrong.
I have to disagree with you about the US being the "nicest" world power. From where I am sitting they are, at the present time, the most dangerous - not only because they lie and bully their way around the world but they do not have one clue about what they are really doing and they have absolutely no respect for any other country or people in the world.

You're talking about the U.S. right? Because America (North, Central, and South) make up pretty much all of the western hemisphere. The U.S. is a wonderful land. The people of the U.S. are generally backward in their thinking. Of all the developed nations the U.S. is the most religious, most violent and most greedy. If the U.S. is powerful it's because it's big and among the last nations settled so it has allot of resources left. If everyone in the world tried to live like U.S. citizens we'd need 4 to 5 more planets. Frankly, I'm sick and tired of all this "God bless America" crap. How about, "May God bless everyone. May God forgive Americans."? I'll take wisdom and intelligence over raw power any day.

I do not hate America as a country, I love it. What I do hate is the direction that our politicians are taking this coutnry, straight down the toilet. We are losing what we do love about this country, but so many do not see it. You are right, America is the stongest country in the world, but if we continue down the path we are headed, how long will that still be true.

I think that in reality there are very few America haters in the United States. I consider myself an America lover. I support and defend the Constitution of the United States. It's the elected representatives, who have broken their oath of office to protect and defend the Constitution by passing measures like the Patriot Act, that are the real America haters.
