"President Bush says the release of a new video by al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden is a vivid reminder of the dangers still facing the world." -Voice of America

http://www.voanews.com/english/2007-09-0...

Bush has ignored Bin Laden, the man behind 9/11, for years. He's said that he's not concerned about Bin Laden. And now Bush says that the fact that Bin Laden is still out there... is a reminder of the dangers we face.

How can Bush say that with a straight face, after all but completely ignoring Bin Laden for 6 years? 6 years AFTER the worst act of terrorism EVER on U.S. soil?

Bin Laden is out there because Bush hasn't made terrorism the priority. Bin Laden is out there because Bush sees terrorism as an opportunity.

Wouldn't it behoove you cons, to actually ban Faux News, and get some WORTHY information that is excluded in your daily news diet?

Everytime we go to war it is always during a term that a republican president in in office. But this takes the cake! Too many innocent people were murdered on September 11, 2001. Too many innocent people have been murdered since then. And too many people are still being murdered. All for a madman that wants to rule in the name of Allah. Bin Ladin is a coward hiding behind his butchers. Now he shows his face while still hiding. So Sadam was found! Whoopie! Did he brag about The World Trade Center? But he and his sons did suffer poetic justice. Our men and women are not only dying from suicide bombers, but by mandatory Anthrax vaccinations. Worse of all are the innocent children, murdered or orphaned. God must be truly angry with us. Does anyone have any suggestions to send to President Bush?

I know Amerifascists will resort to their usual scare tactics, but I can't help noticing Iran hasn't invaded anyone in 250 years.

I wish we could say the same.

Dr. MLK, preached civil movements through nonviolent means. How do you think he would have responded to terrorist acts upon our fertile grounds here in the U.S.?

Thoughts?

I've seen many here basically already waving the white flag and sending the message that we're going to capitulate to another Radical Muslim (A.K.A.- Islamofascists) terrorist nation.

What do you think is going to convince that Hitler reincarnate to change his mind?

He's very intent on having nuclear weapons.

Why do you think he declared that Israel should be wiped off the map, or that the Holocaust didn't exist?

This man hates America, Israel, and the West. Many of his speeches have also had anti-American rhetoric, with chants such as "death to America".

Truely liberals, doesn't that frighten you? Or are you peaceniks going to light some more candles, hold hands, and sing "Give Peace A Chance"?

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

what have they done for us lately? Do they support us?

I am more moderate liberal and DO NOT SUPPORT BUSH.

I do however, need to point out hypocrisy when I see it.

When Bush brings up terrorism or the threat level is raised, we are told by liberals that Bush is doing this to scare us into being in fear. They blame Karl Rove sometimes.

But he is criticized for not taking the threat seriously.

If he talks about it 24/7 he is criticized. If he doesn't, he is attacked for not doing enough.

Its not fair.

I know about the Bush comment where he said "I just don't worry about him that much."

Of course this President wants to prevent attacks and keep America safe.

I support whoever the President is in that endevor Republican or Democrat.

We as liberal America, we can not have it both ways.

We can't attack the President for not talking about the threat, and at the same time attack him for when he does.

We can't have it both ways.

Thank you.

Well I watched CNN exclusively for many years . Then Fox came along and I checked it it out . I was happy with CNN but wanted to see what was new . After awhile I noticed that certain stories on CNN were not being fully reported and this bothered me so I searched further . Anyways , eventually I came to the conclusion that both were biased but Fox at least gave both sides of the story . That was many years ago.

Fast-forward to 2007 . Over the last 2 weeks I've watched an extensive amount of CNN . It's still biased and so is Fox , but I noticed a glaring difference this time . This time I noticed that there were entire segments and sequences of segments that every sentence had something to do with Bush being a failure and truly outright seething hatred for him . I now understand where much of the anti-Bush hatred on here comes from .

Go ahead and answer the titled question , but let me add that I would truly hope that many of you could be brave enough to make an honest comparison .

I just found out B.O. smokes. I know first hand how emotionally debilitating it can be trying to be peaceful in a meeting when it's time for a cigarette. Short temper, bad judgment; it's all well documented.
-
Then there's Hillary.... Also well documented - Some women get PMS, others don't. Her being pro-war about 1 week a month makes it pretty clear Hillary does.
-
So my question is, if you've experienced both, which is more debilitating, bad PMS or a nicotine fit?

Osama bin Laden appeared for the first time in three years in a video Friday released ahead of the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, telling Americans they should convert to Islam if they want the war in Iraq to end. So do you plan to convert? Who should we call to check it out?
