Because Cuba is eeeevvvviiiilllllllll! As far as the gold, I didn't know you couldn't own gold bullion. I'm not exactly in the market but it does seem like a pointless freedom to take away.

I'm an American and I have gold here in my home and it is totally legal. I can have as much gold as I want to buy if I have the money for the gold. Whoever told you Americans can't own gold told an evil lie to make you believe Americans don't have the rights we have. As far as going to Cuba, I can any time I want, but I'd have to fly to another country first and then to that poor little commie island. Why would I want to go to Cuba? I'm an American and I have enough gold here to keep me happy. I don't want anything from Cuba, but it would be good for the poor people of Cuba if they would make their country more like America.
Here in America we have gold, and we have the right to have guns so we can defend our gold and our people. Cubans have no such right, and they have very little gold...

You can own as much gold as you can afford. Where did you get the idea we couldn't have gold. Who would want to go to Cuba in the first place?

You've been able to own gold for over 40 years that I am aware of. It's not cheap, about $700.00 an ounce.

Believe you can go to Cuba also. I don't know who told you these things cant be done, but they are wrong.

Who would want to go to Cuba in the first place, other than ones with family there. As for as gold, I have a lot of it, but not in the form of bullion. Me, I do not forget easily as some people do, and I do a lot of research. JFK and the Cuban Missile Crisis, I must say, he handled them communist real well. I am not into terrorist or their country. If your are American, you have freedom, be thankful for it .

Americans can own all the bullion they want. Have been able to for over 30 years. Check out the hot market on eBay. Cuban travel ban went on in the early 60s.

Too bad you *can't* go to Cuba. It'd be a good reality check for you. Do you think those people who risk their lives to escape Cuba are just adrenaline junkies? Tell you what, Skippy - if you promise to never come back, I'll help you find a way to get there.

Dude! You can own bullion.
Could since about 1967 IIRC.
As to going to Cuba, everyone from
there that I've met was glad to get out.
