"President Bush says the release of a new video by al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden is a vivid reminder of the dangers still facing the world." -Voice of America

http://www.voanews.com/english/2007-09-0...

Bush has ignored Bin Laden, the man behind 9/11, for years. He's said that he's not concerned about Bin Laden. And now Bush says that the fact that Bin Laden is still out there... is a reminder of the dangers we face.

How can Bush say that with a straight face, after all but completely ignoring Bin Laden for 6 years? 6 years AFTER the worst act of terrorism EVER on U.S. soil?

Bin Laden is out there because Bush hasn't made terrorism the priority. Bin Laden is out there because Bush sees terrorism as an opportunity.

Bush is 'all fiction'. As time goes on he gets stranger and stranger. He began simply as a stooge for the Oil Mafia, other trans-national corporations and the Jesus freak right..simply doing whatever he was told to do. But now, with so many of his former handlers abandoning ship he finds himself with nobody to tell him what to do. There may have been a time when he believed in this 'Imperial America' nonsense, but he 'believed' because he's predisposed to be a 'believer'. He's 'belief' existed because those around him fed his 'belief' to him. Now Bush has nobody to tell him what to believe so we see him thrashing around trying to maintain in his own mind that he's in charge and his 'beliefs' are valid. Unhappily, he's not never even been in charge of himself, much less the future of the United States. He's twisting slowly in the wind, while the bastards that used this poor former drunk have slunk off out of public view. It's a Greek tragedy...starting with a flawed hero who becomes even more flawed.

This Republican Right Wing President is incredible in that everything he suggests in bass ackwards.
Every Social change like Medicare and Social Security and now he's talking about helping people who are about to lose their homes because of loose banking and mortgage laws which caused the crises in the first place.
When the CIA and military Special Forces bottled up Bin Laden shortly after military operations in Afghanistan began the Great Leaders, Bush/Cheney stalled until Bin Laden escaped into Pakistan. That goes without saying that the War on Iraq is the worst most inconceivable stupid military and political and foreign policy blunder in the history of the world.
Nero played a fiddle while Rome burned, our President keeps repeating the same crap over and over again and worse the right wingers National Republican party including every one of the Republican nominees, except one, still say that it was the right thing to do in going to war on Iraq.
They're taking the country to hell in a hand basket!
Thinks

No, on the contrary I find it very interesting that the Bin Laden video came out the very same day that Norman Hsu was arrested, you remember him the guy that has been gathering all of that money for Hillary (and others). The same guy that has been a fugitive from justice for 15 years.

Sort of reminds me of when Bill and Monica thing that Bill decided now would be a good time to bomb Iraq

Not at all.

You have no way to know what goes on unless you are there. There is way too much going on that the average American have no clue to.

Catching Bin Laden does not change our terrorism problem. Kill him and others will run the show.

You don't go into Pakistan guns-a-blazing to get the old man hiding in the hills. I think it has been made very clear why you don't do that. Obama on the other hand, said he would do that. Bad move. What I don't understand is why you Liberals want to start another war before this one is done. Now that's a contradiction. You complain about the amount of money that is spent on the war and yet you want to start another one? What's with that?

Yes, he is! Why was he allowed to serve another term? The republicans wasted almost $55,000,000 of our tax payers money going after Clinton. Notice everytime Bush's popularity went down over the past six years the terror-alert always went up? You're right Bush does see terrorism as an opportunity.

He "controlled" to graduate from Yale via fact of his father's potential and money. this is the reason he have been given into the college interior the 1st place. Noelle Bush, daughter of Florida governor Jeb Bush (and George's niece), "controlled" to graduate from Florida State Univesity in spite of not often attending instructions, and receiving grades which could have failed maximum different scholars. She improve into in drug rehab for 3/4 of her senior year and nonetheless controlled a "B" regularly occurring. absolutely everyone knows you under no circumstances fail the governor's newborn, i understand for a fact a minimum of two professor's (non-tenured)have been threatened with termination whilst they tried to fail her. look it up interior the Tallahassee Democrat. Aslo, no offense to the business enterprise grad's available, yet an MBA from ANY college isn't possibly all that stressful to get. i'm no longer asserting this is basic, whether it certainly does not require somewhat some intelligence. Bush has lost a lot money in very ill-conceived business enterprise ventures, i ask your self how anybody could cite his degree as info of intelligence? I call Bush no longer purely incompetent, yet stupid as properly. he's stupid via fact he fairly beleive's his very own bullshlt. He fairly theory the Iraqi's could welcome the US with open palms. He fairly does think of he's doing "God's paintings", and it under no circumstances occours to him that in step with danger he's faulty. once you beleive your guy or woman BS, you're stupid.

"Reminder," dear.

Look up the meaning. Not the thing, but a reminder of the thing. There is a clear difference, he seems to know it.

Why don't you?

And why would you so quickly assume motives you have no proof of and treat our President as guilty until proved innocent? Is this your idea of logical, just, or even sane?

Goodness sake.
